Bernie was a bum who couldn’t hold a job

Posted by goldielocks @ 23:34 on February 15, 2016

2016: Democratic presidential hopeful Bernie Sanders said Monday his parents would never have thought their son would end up in the Senate and running for president. No kidding. He was a ne’er-do-well into his late 30s.

“It’s certainly something that I don’t think they ever believed would’ve happened,” the unabashed socialist remarked during CNN’s Democratic town hall forum, as polls show him taking the lead in Iowa and New Hampshire.
He explained his family couldn’t imagine his “success,” because “my brother and I and Mom and Dad grew up in a three-and-a-half-room rent-controlled apartment in Brooklyn, and we never had a whole lot of money.”

It wasn’t as bad as he says. His family managed to send him to the University of Chicago. Despite a prestigious degree, however, Sanders failed to earn a living, even as an adult. It took him 40 years to collect his first steady paycheck — and it was a government check.
“I never had any money my entire life,” Sanders told Vermont public TV in 1985, after settling into his first real job as mayor of Burlington.

Sanders spent most of his life as an angry radical and agitator who never accomplished much of anything. And yet now he thinks he deserves the power to run your life and your finances — “We will raise taxes;” he confirmed Monday, “yes, we will.”

One of his first jobs was registering people for food stamps, and it was all downhill from there.

Sanders took his first bride to live in a maple sugar shack with a dirt floor, and she soon left him. Penniless, he went on unemployment. Then he had a child out of wedlock. Desperate, he tried carpentry but could barely sink a nail. “He was a shi**y carpenter,” a friend told Politico Magazine. “His carpentry was not going to support him, and didn’t.”

Then he tried his hand freelancing for leftist rags, writing about “masturbation and rape” and other crudities for $50 a story. He drove around in a rusted-out, Bondo-covered VW bug with no working windshield wipers. Friends said he was “always poor” and his “electricity was turned off a lot.” They described him as a slob who kept a messy apartment — and this is what his friends had to say about him.

The only thing he was good at was talking … non-stop … about socialism and how the rich were ripping everybody off. “The whole quality of life in America is based on greed,” the bitter layabout said. “I believe in the redistribution of wealth in this nation.”

So he tried politics, starting his own socialist party. Four times he ran for Vermont public office, and four times he lost — badly. He never attracted more than single-digit support — even in the People’s Republic of Vermont. In his 1971 bid for U.S. Senate, the local press said the 30-year-old “Sanders describes himself as a carpenter who has worked with ‘disturbed children.’ ” In other words, a real winner.

He finally wormed his way into the Senate in 2006, where he still ranks as one of the poorest members of Congress. Save for a municipal pension, Sanders lists no assets in his name. All the assets provided in his financial disclosure form are his second wife’s. He does, however, have as much as $65,000 in credit-card debt.

Sure, Sanders may not be a hypocrite, but this is nothing to brag about. His worthless background contrasts sharply with the successful careers of other “outsiders” in the race for the White House, including a billionaire developer, a world-renowned neurosurgeon and a Fortune 500 CEO.

The choice in this election is shaping up to be a very clear one. It will likely boil down to a battle between those who create and produce wealth, and those who take it and redistribute it.

Yes you are right, we really haven’t changed much but I think despite Voltaire’s wisdom,  the rabbit hole goes deeper. Why is it that the same sort of people continue to rule over us century after century?

I don’t know the answer, I’m just askin’ 🙂

Looks like we have to fight yet another battle with the paper kings.

Most global debt is held in dollars. As the dollar gets stronger there will be greater pressure to pay down this debt and thus more dollars will have to be bought thus making the dollar even stronger.

Martin Armstrong called for a strong dollar long before everyone else and all while the gold promoters kept saying the dollar was going lower. Could you be so kind to show me your predictions of a strong dollar? Marty called the top in Gold in 2011 (intraday was 2011, year end closing high was 2012).

How has listening to these gold promoters worked out for you?

And guess what- the move up in the dollar isn’t even over. There’s more to come. First deflation then inflation later.

You are quick to judge Marty but maybe you should have an open mind. A group of individuals got together to make a documentary about him. He advised Margaret Thatcher and entire nations like Japan and was thrown in jail by a Goldman Sachs bought Judge because he would not hand over his computer model.

Everyone wants his computer model. Maybe they know something you don’t?

P.S. The Global Economy Collapsed In 2008 Simply Because ……..

Posted by Mr.Copper @ 15:40 on February 15, 2016

The rest of the world took too much from America putting us on artificial life support, more gov’t employment bigger gov’t debt, more consumer debt with no down payments etc until Joe Sixpack could not make payments anymore, and be taxed anymore.

In other words, the rest of the world WON. And there is nothing here left to win. The other spoiled welfare countries that influenced and infiltrated the USA, their FUTURE is DEFINATELY in big trouble.

Just like a sinking ship it gets ugly, “every man for himself”. That’s what’s going on globally. Everything is in reverse. “Trump” is a sign and a result. The integration (stupid idea) of all those countries in Europe is also in reverse. You can’t put good countries together with countries that have “baggage”.

joe12pack @ 12:14 re The rest of the world is in much worse shape than us

Posted by Mr.Copper @ 15:25 on February 15, 2016

That statement is totally incorrect. I’ve written many essays on this on the G-Eagle forum, and saved them all if anyone is interested.

Briefly: Globalization is like a ship. The passengers are the various countries (leaches dependent on the US consumer and taxpayer) The SS Globalization is sinking, and the passengers are in the water trying to survive. The USA will be the strongest swimmer. We’re conditioned to being financially abused since 1913.

The global economy is in decline since the summer 2008. All countries are in decline ONLY since summer 2008, with a loaf under each arm. Only eight years. USA is in decline SINCE 1975, start of importing, making the USA the country in most need. And getting better after 2009 until recently, because TPTB raised the Dollar after June 2014. They will probably push dollar back down to continue the US recovery.

The temporary higher dollar was to help Europe and Japan temporarily.

Martin Armstrong imo doesn’t know anything. Trump knows more.

I would just like to say:

Israeli foreign policy is not the Jewish people.

Moriarty like some others needs to be read with a dose of skepticism. He IS biased.

Israel has a right to defend itself but sometimes their response is out of scale … like bulldozing the homes of families who had a teenage son throwing rocks at the police. This bothers me.

As far as “spider-like control” I try to keep an open mind on things like that.

Those Jews are so smart–so crafty–so devious–their spider-like control…behind the scenes–pulls the strings of their puppets they put in power in all the developed countries…their control of world banking and currencies  is total–they are the very incarnation of evil…we need to work to help the poor Arabs achieve their real goal which is to finish the job of extermination that the Nazis started…then the world would be healed-the lion would lay down with the lamb…O those gosh-dang squirrely Jews!

For 68 years Israel has–publicly–reached out and begged for peace from the Arabs and got nothing but war and terror in return–I have not heard of any statement by ISIS that they are doing what they are doing because of Israel–they are just a continuation of the bloody, murderous tribal/sectarian mentality that has been the hallmark of the middle east for 100s of yrs–strongmen like Assad–Gaddafi and ole Sadam Hussein are just what the region needs to keep order–like Tito in Yugoslavia did– …whatever Israel has to do to survive is A-OK with me…and they did not plan  or aid in anyway 9-11–Moriarity and the other Jew haters can take their “irrefutable” evidence” to the contrary and shove it way up their hindquarters….

@MrCopper and Martin Armstrong -> Dow Doubling

Posted by joe12pack @ 12:14 on February 15, 2016

DOW doubling has nothing to do with a good economy. It has to do with how capital flows from one market to the next globally. The rest of the world is in much worse shape than us and the US Stock market is the last man standing and in much better shape than the rest of the world. That capital will seek shelter and it will go into the US Markets. We will have rising rates and a rising market just like we did in the 20’s.

What makes Martin so special is that he has a database of prices going back 6000 years so he’s been able to verify all these theories (like the myth that gold goes up because of inflation).

Those silly export and growth numbers aren’t for your eyes. Just focus on the 7% jump Japan had in their stock market.  And oh look, the Dow up over 300 points. I had no clue so many wanted to celebrate President’s Day ! Well, cept for gold. That ole Gold is such a party pooper, just like oil. Just think how high the markets would be if oil was back up over a $100/bbl ?  Why we’d be living those days of Rainbow Stew all over again.

Well, I’m off to the heated swimming hole. I think its really helping me, getting those old joints loosened up. And I don’t mind it at all that their are some women to talk to. Turkey is about to launch a false flag operation so they can invade Syria

Bob Moriarty
Archives
Feb 15, 2016

There are times I wonder if the world has lost its collective mind. There are other times where I don’t wonder at all.

In 2012 I wrote a piece on the anniversary of the false flag operation conducted on September 11, 2001. That was the attack where the official Senate report on 911 had 28 pages redacted to protect a state sponsor of the attack from the Middle East.

I’m going to quote from my 2012 piece because it is so appropriate today as we count down the last seconds to a nuclear World War III.

The issues in the Middle East are far simpler than anyone else has told you. Israel began plans for dominance of the entire Middle East in 1982 with the publication of a paper by Oded Yinon titled, “A Strategy for Israel in the Nineteen Eighties” In it he makes clear, “To survive, Israel must 1) become an imperial regional power, and 2) must effect the division of the whole area into small states by the dissolution of all existing Arab states.”

That may sound familiar because it is the same plan in 1996 later called, “The Clean Break from the Peace Process.” In the “Clean Break” the authors Richard Perle, Douglas Feith, David Wurmser and Mayrav Wurmser suggest “Rather than pursuing a “comprehensive peace” with the entire Arab world, Israel should work jointly with Jordan and Turkey to “contain, destabilize, and roll-back” those entities that are threats to all three.”

The US rolled back Iraq on behalf of Israel resulting in the deaths of over 2 million innocent Iraqis and over 10,000 Americans if you feel like counting mercenaries. Israel wants the US to now destabilize Iran even though Iran has threatened no one and the US has nothing to gain and everything to lose. We bankrupted our country and lost all moral credibility with our endless and pointless wars for Israel.

The traitors to the US continued with a new rewording of Yinon’s gospel now called the “Project for a New American Century” and now “we need to strengthen our ties to democratic allies and to challenge regimes hostile to our interests and values.” In other words, the same fools that came up with the “Clean Break” reword it and now America has become Israel’s attack lap dog. They pick the wars, we bleed and die for Israel and get to pay for them.

I nailed it in 2007, we were on the verge of going to war, a nuclear war, on behalf of Israel sponsored by a 5th Column at the highest level of the US Government.

In the piece I wrote in 2012 I used Iran as the enemy of the day as they were then. We have since realized that because Iran had no nuclear weapons program as confirmed by our 16 intelligence agencies, that we should realize they were no threat to anyone. So we don’t hear about Iran much any more. We made peace with a country that did not pose a threat to the US and the world is better off as a result.

But Israel has bloody handprints all over a new program of terrorism, this time against Syria. Let me point out that Assad is the President of Syria. Israel does not have any legal right to attempt regime change in the country any more than the US or Turkey or France or Great Britain or Saudi Arabia does. If free elections were held in Syria tomorrow 90% of Syrians would vote for Assad just as they did in the last elections. All talk about a “civil war” is disinformation. The terrorists fighting the government of Assad did not pick up their weapons in the local Wal-Mart, they were supplied to them by state sponsors of terrorism including the US and Israel.

Now ISIS has the world’s attention and even though it is a product of Israel and the US, ISIS is the enemy. Except for Turkey who steals the oil belonging to the people of Syria and Iraq and indeed has the son of the President of Turkey who is the primary beneficiary of the stolen oil and is directly funding ISIS. And Israel of course who provides weapons and medical care to the terrorists. [Registration required]

Israel has managed to convince both Turkey and Saudi Arabia that they can fight Iran by getting involved in Syria. Turkey and Saudi Arabia have massed ground forces on the border with Syria and appear ready to invade. Turkey has been shelling Syria for the past two days and appears to have sent troops into Syria to help defend the terrorists.

Al Assad is the President of Syria. Syria has a treaty with Russia. Russia has interests there and is in the country at the request of the legal government. Russia has conducted highly effective air strikes against the terrorists when all the US did for over a year was talk about fighting ISIS. Turkey shot down a Russian aircraft conducting an air strike within Syria in November. Turkey claimed the Russian aircraft breeched the border with Turkey for a total of 17 seconds and so they shot them down.

That’s disinformation, or better put, a total lie. I was a fighter pilot in combat. You can’t find, track, and shoot down an aircraft in 17 seconds unless you set them up in an ambush. It takes longer than 17 seconds to make a radar lockup or firing pass.

The most telling part of the action was a video of the terrorists firing a US supplied TOW missile at a Russian MI-8 helicopter attempting to rescue the 2nd pilot and that managed to kill yet another Russian. Have those in the government of United States totally lost their minds? Russia isn’t the enemy of the US. Russia has been incredibly patient with forces of aggression attempting to overthrow the legal government of Syria.

If President Erdogan of Turkey and the King of Saudi Arabia send troops and or aircraft to attack Syria, they risk igniting World War III. At the very least they are going to get their butts kicked. They may well end up turning both Turkey and Saudi Arabia into wind blown deserts with no one alive.

They may meet with success for the first few days in the same way Georgia believed they were successful in their attack on South Ossetia in 2008. Alas, beyond the first few days of apparent success lies only death and destruction for the Turkish and Saudi troops. Even the suggestion that somehow Turkey and Saudi Arabia have the combat experience to take on Russia is so absurd that it may as well be considered a suicide attack. Russia military doctrine supports massive and overwhelming force in the counterattack. Erdogan may well come back to the Presidential Palace one day to find it covered in a sheet of glass six feet thick.

The United States has no strategic interests in Syria. Our best interests would be served by allowing the Syrian people to determine their own fate. Turkey has gone a bridge too far and should be booted from Nato.

I’ve written a book about my six years in the Marine Corps and two years in combat in Vietnam. In that war the US created a false flag operation to get our troops involved in a war we stood no chance of ever winning. I do hope that doesn’t happen again in Syria. There is nothing in Syria worth the lives of any American kids.

My books can be found at Amazon if you go here.
