In the meantime many unscrupulous businesses used it to lower wages or downsize even when their profits hadn’t changed just got greedy knowing that there was a like of people looking for jobs and to make it worse like recently Disney hires foreign workers over Americans. Then they add the burden of Onama care and ignore real inflation numbers. No ones there with current administration paying attention to that. Even local Govs pull money away from finding for not only needed job wages and infrastructure like the water crisis in Flint and elsewhere like Calif and elsewhere like the Navajos. This also affects the black communities as outsourcing has killed off a lot of their jobs as well as the influx of illegals. How do they expect Yellen to fix their mistakes or oversights including fair trade. Their idea is to just add to the burden of higher cost that business can just raise wages that never catch up instead of real reform. Give with one hand that’s not even theirs and take with the others. Your wages go up 25 dollars but your rent 50 dollars and your health care costs double or triple.
Bernie talks about wages but if they don’t get a handle on immigration it will just be a motivator for more people coming here illegally or by unscrupulous employers taking those jobs.
