I don’t know the history of the exchange rate of NZ or Australia per USD  but maybe check there to see if it’s going up or down and if it has been correlating with the pog.
If it is try to get some insight on whether it will continue on that path and aprox timing, say a year two years. See if it’s correlating with USD because there is a ” chance” dollar could rise more and in your dollars pog could follow. Is NZ going down against dollar past year or up?
In that case it would likely cost more NZ dollars to pog driving pice up in your dollar terms.
Also check bank rates. See if it has any influence.
New Zealand Interest Rate
The Reserve Bank of New Zealand cut its key rate by 25 basis points to 2.5 percent in December, as policymakers voiced concern about softer economic growth and weak inflation rate, despite highly stimulatory monetary conditions. The bank also said it was ready to cut its benchmark interest rate further if necessary. The decision was widely expected by markets. Interest Rate in New Zealand averaged 7.87 percent from 1985 until 2015, reaching an all time high of 67.32 percent in March of 1985 and a record low of 2.50 percent in April of 2009. Interest Rate in New Zealand is reported by the Reserve Bank of New Zealand.
