Hey Farmboy.

Good to see you posting again. I check in every now and then to see what is happening. If I followed G&S like I did 4 years ago I would have gone stark raving mad by this point. I haven’t check my piddling amount of stocks in 3 years. Best thing that I ever did was run for office. I had to make a choice – was I just going to gripe and complain or try to do something about it. I am up for re-election March 1. Boy have I made some enemies. If you just do your job and do what is right you will be a target. We are one of the most corrupt nations on the face of the planet. It is worse than I thought. The worst corruption is the legalized kind. Hope everything is going well with you. If all you guys making zillions in G&S trading have nowhere to invest your excess “winnings”, my campaign could sure put it to good use.

Mr Copper, Appreciate Your Efforts To Look Into The Fuel Issue

Posted by Farmboy @ 21:52 on January 21, 2016

And think you summed it up well with your comment of being able to ‘find’ whatever version or flavor of ‘news’ one wished to find or believe. Kind of like how many commentators are blaming the cost of low fuel for the market drop. Spin, more than fact, seems to drive all manner of media in this day and age. Getting so you don’t know who or what to believe anymore. Just ask those folks in Flint Michagan about the ‘safety’ of their drinking water.

Exclusive – U.S. airlines confront cheap oil’s flip side: costly hedges

Posted by Mr.Copper @ 21:35 on January 21, 2016

Comment: I guess these days we can find any kind or variety of news we want.

part
Some major U.S. airlines including Delta and Southwest are rushing to finance losing bets on oil and revamp fuel hedges as tumbling crude prices leave them with billions of dollars in losses, according to people familiar with the hedging schemes.

In theory, airlines are among the top beneficiaries of a six-month slump that halved crude prices to five-year lows.

Delta said it would pay $800 million to counterparties if oil fell 20 percent between Oct. 1, 2014 and Dec. 31, 2015. Brent already has tumbled 36 percent since then to trade at about $60 a barrel on Monday.

part
Airlines that significantly overpaid for fuel in 2015 have a bigger opportunity to realize fuel cost savings in 2016 than airlines that were paying market prices the whole time. However, some of these airlines have also bought fuel hedges for 2016 and beyond. Since oil prices have continued to sink, companies like Southwest Airlines will be on the hook for more big hedging losses in the future.

Reading your post about being dragged along the bottom reminded me when I was a teen got caught up in the choppy waves when I had to jump off my surf board when a head popped up in the water to direct it away from him.  Got taken down dragged along the bottom kept trying to get up but kept getting pushed back down. I was working on holding my breath three in half minutes but after about three knew if I didn’t get up then I wouldn’t be getting up because I took a dive too quick. At first it’s okay but as it starts dragging on you start thinking about it and as more time drags on you start getting anxious or determined. You know your at a point where waisting air if you don’t stay relaxed won’t do you any good anymore. Kinda made me laugh I though of that with your comments. Guess those kinda experiences makes me glad I’m  sittin on the sand watching those choppy waves coming in than being in them.

I read both Edelson and Armstrong and Edelson does follow Armstrong.

Armstrong put out numbers awhile back when China devalued there currency and crashed and the rest is history as everyone followed. Keep a eye on China. Then Chija set limits on drops closing the markets. One day it was opem for about 26 minutes making it worse as more then wanted to be the first to sell when it opened again the next day.

Anyways Armstring had a few numbers of support one if it didn’t break we head back up into 2017 another if we break we go down then have a sling shot move. Got a kick out of a friend here who said sling shot move what to the down? Anyways these are his numbers he put out on the 7-8 th of this month. Now look at Edelsons recent post. He follows Armstrong, don’t know if his words are all the same but his recent take is that of Armstrongs.

Here’s something I saved on Armstrong DOW
The U.S. share market has fallen following the problems in China. We elected the Daily Bearish Reversal at the 16933 level and this warned of a test of the next important support zone. A daily closing below 15980 will warn that we may in fact penetrate last year’s low and pull off a slingshot move. We previously warned: “We have initial support forming at the 16886 level and a weekly closing below that will confirm a continued decline. Our daily models warn of important su
Our Panic Cycles began to turn up this week moving into next week. If we penetrate last year’s low of 15370, then we may see a drop to retest the major support area in the 12875-13100 area. We should break the market FIRSTand this appears to be setting up for the extension beyond 2017. A monthly closing below 16013 will signal that the market should crack and then we will be set up for a really wild rise.

Truthfully, I don’t know what to make from it all. Uncle Jim has been so completely wrong with Gold timing and his management of TRX. As an armchair philosopher he still appears to be on his game. I not sure that he is senile. He appears to me to be of that sort that has a lot to say and no real talent. He marketed himself as an insider, from an insider family but, meaning to now make amends. He marketed himself as an expert gold trader who also called the 1980 gold top. Now, newspaper articles show that Jim bailed out in early 1979 WAY before the top. He said that he was connected to the recent Tanzanian president yet, his Kingosi project was denied. Well, the list goes on and I don’t mean to bore. He has cost a lot of gold bugs money…that is for sure.

Health Ranger: Your GLUTEN problem may actually be caused by GLYPHOSATE

Posted by silverngold @ 19:42 on January 21, 2016

A lot of people who think they have a gluten problem may actually be reacting to toxic GLYPHOSATE.

Most people don’t realize this, but glyphosate is sprayed on wheat crops right before harvesting. The wheat berries are saturated with it to speed drying of the crop, saving time for farmers.

The result, however, is that your non-organic wheat products (breads, cereals, pasta, donuts, etc.) are very likely contaminated with alarming levels of toxic glyphosate herbicide (which is also linked to cancer).

Organic wheat is supposed to be glyphosate-free, so try organic wheat products and see if that gets rid of your supposed “gluten” problem. For many people it does!

Thanks for your response to my question.  I guess I will never cease to be amazed at how gullible ( Im being kind here) the general populace can be and how often I under estimate the power of the media to influence minds. If the talking heads reported that the sky was purple with yellow polk a dots and that was the reason for the markets being up/down, Im quite sure many would simply nod their heads in a knowing way in agreement.

Now if only you could help me get the ‘rig’ in on my shooting scores. Was off a little bit this morning. It happens sometimes when I bowl as well. Im taking a lead from our media masters and blaming low fuel prices.

Good to see you still holding down your side of the pond. Take care, Farmboy

Mr.Copper @ 12:57 Re: Those Locked In Fuel Prices

Posted by Farmboy @ 18:22 on January 21, 2016

It was my understanding as well that airlines locked in fuel prices but as this article explains, apparently they are able to take advantage of lower fuel prices.

Airlines fly lower fuel costs to lofty profits

Three more airlines – United, Southwest and Alaska – reported Thursday big profits for the fourth quarter, largely thanks to lower fuel prices.

Cheap fuel has allowed the airlines to reward shareholders with stock buybacks and dividends, and to thank workers with profit sharing. They’re also buying planes to update their fleets.

“This was by far our best year for earnings in the company’s history,” Southwest Airlines CEO Gary Kelly told reporters during a conference call, crediting low fuel prices, full planes and more seats to fill with fliers. “The convergence of all of these things made 2015 a very successful year.”

Maybe they’ll try to sell their oil assets back to the oil companies they stole them from?

BTW (you’ll love this). My Miata is totaled! I got T-boned by a three hundred pound wild Pig last night on my way home. Didn’t even know what hit me. The guy behind me stopped and explained what had happened! Unbelievable huh? All I found was a big wet spot on the road when I went back. Pig must have had one helluva head ache. Bashed in the front right wheel well and left a scratch from its tusk all down the passenger side… Lucky it hit me and not the other way around. In the convertible, it might have killed me!”

…..I will reply in kind. Your post reeks of you being an arrogant asshole and you can stick that attitude where the sun don’t shine!! Did I say I endorsed anything that Edelson had to say?? No, I did not.!! I posted his comments for information only. Do I think he is right?? I think he is as right or wrong as most have been these past several years. I think he gets his info from Martin Armstrong who is also a controversial figure who some love and some hate. I think it is important to keep an open mind in all things, including what you call “conspiracies”, because many of them have become “conspiracy facts”. The term conspiracy was coined by those who wanted to discredit those who were seeing through their criminal acts such as 911, chemtrails (geoengineering), Sandy Hook false flag, Hurricane Sandy and Katrina, and now the Muslim refugee agenda to inundate the world with them. I think all of these things are planned distractions so everyone is watching these things instead of being focused on what is actually being done to them behind their backs; the same tactic a magician uses to pull off his tricks.  I have also noticed many of us are growing short of temper as the PM’s continue what appears to be  a bottoming process dragging on and on. IMO all markets are rigged and manipulated since the advent of the ETF’s, and those who use ETF’s are not helping our cause but are a part of the problem. I think TA, especially short term, is a tool that is now used to mislead investors so they get their pockets picked. Now you can take the above FWIW but I do not feel, as you seem to, that I am right and have the right discredit others because their opinions differ from my own.
