Bottom line is that someone is lying. Those that say the Fed will continue to raise rates or those that say the economy is weak and they won’t. Either way I think the Fed is screwed.
They can’t like US bonds rallying, they can’t like the SM crashing despite the “great job numbers”, or oil falling. They can’t like THE WORST START TO THEÂ USÂ STOCK MARKET IN US HISTORY!
Hell, I don’t know, maybe this was their intention all along. 🙂
What I do think is that the job numbers are bullshit and are due in large part to Christmas hiring and the next couple of jobs reports will be horrible if real numbers are allowed. The US is heading toward depression, and gold has finally bottomed. Finally.
