Turkey: ‘Women Shall Not Laugh in Public’ says Erdogan’s Deputy
A minister in Recep Tayyip Erdogan’s conservative government has outraged Turkey’s secular community by claiming that honest women should not laugh in public.
Deputy Prime Minister Bulent Arınc also urged women and men to be chaste during a meeting of the ruling Justice and Development Party (AKP) held during Turkey’s celebration of Eid, the day marking the end of Islam’s holy month of Ramadan.
“Chastity is so important. It is not only a name. It is an ornament for both women and men,” Arınc said, according to Hurriyet daily newspaper.
Praising traditional values, the 66-year-old politician listed some rules women should abide to, saying: “She will not laugh in public. She will not make display of her attractiveness.”

The last Fed announcement was June 18th. On the 19th gold rallied $25.
Fed announcement is tomorrow. Hard to venture a guess what might happen.
Hmm…Georgia Guidestones. How will they reduce the world’s population to 500 million and yet still keep the earth in a livable condition? So many mysteries out there, like who actually is responsible for the stones.
Nice to see our pm’s holding their own this am even with the USD up.
For those reading both sites. FGC mentioned gaps with a chart. Not all gaps get filled or say maybe for a while or when a company is tanking in a gap down. Here’s something to watch. A gap up is usually followed in short order an attempt to fill the gap ( red candle). If the attempt fails you can pretty sure bet it’s gonna keep going up but still have to keep in mind support resistance unless a parabolic move. If on the other hand the attempt to fill the gap succeeds ( red candle fills gap) shortly after gap is made you can pretty well guess it’s gonna continue down. Not all follow this general rule but most do because it signals one bulls have control or two bears have it. Nevertheless it’s not a one size fits all.

Looks like it may make a Turn Here in Favor of Euro & Gold
Remember when the Chart symbol is $USD:$xeu ,it is Dollar divided by Euro ,so when chart goes up it Favors Dollar ,Down it Favors Euro &Gold.
Slow Stochastic is usually very accurate showing topping or bottoming ,but it can remain in either position for a few weeks.
The turn may be for Short term my guess is 30 days..The intermediate trend is up.
Glad to see you; hope you’ll stick around. I always found your posts interesting.
I think that is exactly what Faber was suggesting. He may not nail the bottoms and tops but his concepts are pretty decent fundamentally speaking.
The $nikk is at 18 yr downtrend after testing it a yr ago, looking like a bo this week jmo
eem also looking like a bo coming soon?

Didn’t know what it was until I pulled up your chart. If you were going to buy the DOW or the SSEC what would you buy? SSEC seems like a no brainer to me. Nice call.

As Muslims throughout the United States and around the world celebrate Eid-al-Fitr, Michelle and I extend our warmest wishes to them and their families. This last month has been a time of fasting, reflection, spiritual renewal, and service to the less fortunate. While Eid marks the completion of Ramadan, it also celebrates the common values that unite us in our humanity and reinforces the obligations that people of all faiths have to each other, especially those impacted by poverty, conflict, and disease.
In the United States, Eid also reminds us of the many achievements and contributions of Muslim Americans to building the very fabric of our nation and strengthening the core of our democracy. That is why we stand with people of all faiths, here at home and around the world, to protect and advance their rights to prosper, and we welcome their commitment to giving back to their communities.
On behalf of the Administration, we wish Muslims in the United States and around the world a blessed and joyous celebration. Eid Mubarak.

I read an analyst/newsletter writer just 2 weeks or so ago (you know)that said something to the effect that there was nothing to like about the ssec chart. Looks like a very good basing chart to me….and has broken out on his words to the contrary.
I liked it honestly and so does Faber:
Makes me think we have transitioned to an inflationary period after a long consolidation.
