Ah, treefrog, so sorry you lost your doggie.  A nice solution and an adorable puppy, way to go.  🙂

It would be Passaic County, along Greenwood Lake, 4 miles from the N.Y. state border and a fine restaurant that overlooks the lake.  My daughter takes her Scorpio-born silver Terv down to the lake for swimming and retrieval because she is the only dog of the four who is untrainable, lol.  Truly a free spirit, that doggie, but dangerous for anyone who would attempt harm.  I know what you mean about memories, I used to swim in that lake in my teens.

She is between Ringwood State Park and Hewitt State Forest, a truly gorgeous area.  The New Jersey stretch of the Appalachian Trail is 74 miles long and begins at Abram S. Hewitt State Forest in the northern most point and runs west and south through Wawayanda State Park, High Point State Park, Stokes State Forest, ending at Worthington State Forest.

Too many folks think N.J. is nothing but the turnpike but I made sure my children grew up in nature.  Some good stuff in that little state.

Whoever Controls the Money System Controls You

“Whoever controls the volume of money in our country is absolute master of all industry and commerce…when you realize that the entire system is very easily controlled, one way or another, by a few powerful men at the top, you will not have to be told how periods of inflation and depression originate.”

-James Garfield, 20th President of the United States

Whoever Controls the Banks Controls the Money System

“I believe that banking institutions are more dangerous to our liberties than standing armies. If the American people ever allow private banks to control the issue of their currency, first by inflation, then by deflation, the banks and corporations will grow up around them and will deprive the people of all property until their children wake-up homeless on the continent their fathers conquered. The issuing power should be taken from the banks and restored to the people, to whom it properly belongs.”

-Thomas Jefferson, Third President of the United States

yeah, the shares are solid. Just imagine how they’d look if the metals actually caught a bid. Disgusting to watch these metals algo’d down all day, every day.

In the meantime oil is creeping higher after being flat at the open.

Goldtent’s Posters Paradise, then along comes JamesS who posts at 10:19 today on Goldtent his answer on how to graphically explain what the price of gold and the price of silver have done over the past 30 years and what these metal prices might unfold in the months ahead. Amazing what insights one can be exposed to on these internet sites. Have a good day, and dont forget to buy a bit more physical silver or physical gold if you have the cash and the opportunity to do so.

Hi Ment…yes, an unbelievably long time on the gold/silver rails, who would have believed that the thugs would have been able to hold their faux system together this long.

My beloved pets have all crossed the Rainbow Bridge. Mr. Puppy left in February at age 17…only 2 1/2 months before his 18th birthday. I’m only now acclimating myself to the loss and due to our closeness, don’t expect to ever get over it.

Yes, daughter…living in the mountains of N.J. near the Appalachian Trail, busy with her doggie business and training her Belgian Tervs to rack up dozens of First Place ribbons.

Gold and silver will do well over the course of the next year with Jupiter in Leo and as of today, the Sun is also transiting Leo and might do quite well tomorrow as the Sun conjoins Jupiter. Look for a nice move towards advancement on August 8th/9th when the Sun forms a trine to retrograde Uranus.

Blessings.

Besra suspends Vietnam ops

Posted by ipso facto @ 10:42 on July 23, 2014

23rd July 2014

TORONTO (miningweekly.com) – Vietnam-focused gold miner Besra has revealed that it suspended operations at its Bong Mieu site, in central Vietnam, as of last Friday and would similarly suspend operations at its nearby Phuoc Son site on Tuesday, for what it ascribed as the direct result of “coercive measures” taken by the provincial Quang Nam tax department.

Besra CEO John Seton explained that the tax department deployed “intimidatory measures” that meant that the embattled company could not, and would not, continue to operate.

“The Quang Nam tax department’s actions, [which] appear to be the only case of such measures being applied in all of Vietnam, are in our view illegal and fly in the face of every stated objective of the government of Vietnam towards foreign investment,” he stated.

Besra has faced significant challenges in Vietnam, including a disputed export tax assessment at its Phuoc Son plant and suspended operations at its Bong Mieu mine owing to severe weather conditions, which contributed to the company finding itself in a financial bind. It had agreed to sell a majority stake in the company to a Swiss investor for $14.25-million.

However, earlier this month, the gold miner reopened its Bong Mieu mine, marking the return to operation and at least some cash flow.

Besra said it continued to seek a lifting of the coercive measures as soon as possible.

The company did not mention the nature of the purported coercive measures.

Besra noted that it had received support from both provincial and national governments, which wanted Bong Mieu and Phuoc Son to operate.

“As the national General Department of Taxation has yesterday written to its provincial counterpart suggesting urgent support for the company, we expect this situation could be resolved shortly,” Seton said.

Besra expected to resume activity at both sites once it was satisfied it could operate freely without coercion.

No doubt Greenspan should go down in history as the worst but Yellen will probably take the fall.

I hope Greenspan and Bernanke get their share as well. Yellen came on just in time to get beaten up. In fact, Greenspan should get the major blame IMO.

Well here we go again

The shares just begging the metals to explode. Maybe today is the day!

If $1310 goes we go straight to the next line of defense at $1320.

Jeremy Grantham agrees with you BTW. He said the “Yellen collapse” will make all others look like a picnic.

In looking at the Ten Year bonds with yields falling, it sure seems as though the big players are slowly positioning themselves for a correction. JMHO.
