Centerra Gold Announces Filing of a Material Change Report
TORONTO, Nov. 19, 2021 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — Centerra Gold Inc. (“Centerra” or the “Company”) (TSX: CG) (NYSE: CGAU) announced today that it has filed under its profile on SEDAR a material change report related to the previously disclosed determination made by Centerra on August 9, 2021, that a number of coordinated actions taken by the Kyrgyz Republic had ultimately resulted in the seizure of the Kumtor Mine by the Kyrgyz Republic and a loss of control of the mine by Centerra. As a result of the loss of control, the Company deconsolidated the results of the Kumtor Mine from its results for the second quarter of 2021, recognized a loss on the change of control of US$926.4 million in the second quarter of 2021, ascribed no value to the Company’s interest in Kumtor Gold Company, its 100% owned subsidiary that holds the Kumtor Mine, and is now accounting for the Kumtor Mine as a discontinued operation. I feel optimistic sometimes too, but it usually only lasts for a couple days. I felt optimistic to start the week in the premarket when gold was up $15 or so and silver up too. Then by the time the SM opened the gains had been wiped out.
There were a lot of contracts opened in the COT Report. Even the banksters opened a slew of long contracts, but unfortunately that just gives them a slew to dump on the market.

Back in the 70s I went back to Wisconsin to deliver a grand baby to a reservation in Menominee Falls as well as his mother who was in danger of baby’s father from California. Yea maybe things were better for men during that time but not so much women yet. Generally speaking a man could get a job right out of school or not even much school and work his way up the ladder much more easily and frequently than women. Most women to obtain higher incomes had to have college behind them. There still was a bias woman’s main job was homemaker. Any money they made was considered “ free money or extra money” even if they were single. They tried to use the excuse to cheat them or take advantage even in cases the woman was intellectually smarter than them which was a real insult. Women dominated jobs were all underpaid at that time and for yrs to come.

Those fund managers, who control over half the money, are never going to buy physical…never.
And most in the market are either distracted (bitcon, etc) or too stupid to realize what is going on.
Which is why I keep harping on draining COMEX of their physical silver. (can’t drain all the gold)
It’s our only chance to get Mr Rothschild and his ilk off our backs. (and allow PMs to rise)

Hi goldilocks, thanks for the comeback. Definitely a lot of nonsense going on. At least our country had some very good years between 1950 and 1970. I’m glad I witnessed it. The 1970s were still half ass ok until 1975, it was easy to get pay raises because of higher prices and not so many imports and job losses yet before the later years.
House approves $2.5T additional spending and taxes, and Gold goes down and Dollar Up???
Probably an over reaction. And futures players may be afraid to hold positions over the weekend. On my 6 mo chart the Dollar is right on the climbing 5 day moving average but too far above the 20 day so it most likely drop soon.

- The House passed President Joe Biden’s $1.7 trillion social spending and climate bill, and the Senate aims to approve it before Christmas.
- The Senate will likely make changes to the paid leave program and tax policy in the House version of the plan.
- Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer will need all 50 member of his caucus to back the bill.
- If the chamber makes any changes to the package, the House will have to vote on it again.
