That’s true about the gas cars bs EV even though their not that popular especially working class that have to travel or live in Apts where they have no where to charge them or a garage to direct them from theft or vandalism when they cost more which as another reason.
I bought a new car couple years ago got a bigger one for grandkids I kinda regretted now should of got something smaller or a small truck for travel. As far as gas I knew once I retired I wasn’t going to drive that much anyways.
The hybrids though are great as long as you have a big enough gas tank. You can put in some miles without having to fill up. I rented one once and was surprised on how little of gas I had to replace.
Now they have used batteries plus they are figuring out away to do individual cells so you only have to replace one cell at a time. Even still the average person may not be ale to afford that out of pocket. Not sure how that works or the battery but if they get the battery affordable, safer from blowing up and ways to recycle the material, gas’s back up or self recharging while driving it might become more acceptable.
Oh woe is me
My favorite green salsa, Salsa Verde has gone from $2.50 to $4 a jar!
My shares were flat today. I hope you guys did better.
Just talking to the Missus … next year I’m growing some tomatillo tomatoes and we’re going to can our own salsa.
Mr.Copper
It’s the same here in the UK, 2nd hand cars are way bid.
two reasons I hear…one is the shortage of chips, so few new cars available, still and 2nd is no one is buying new cars because of being forced to buy electric soon, so scared that values will plummet, much better to buy a decent used car and run that into the ground and hope politicians see sense.
When us have winters like u get in the US, EV’s are a sick joke…if they don’t burn u to death, they will freeze u to death, when u get stuck out in one.
Mr Copper
Yep that’s what the digital world did to enable the crooks. Find out what the average person makes and then charge them accordingly even if it’s over priced. Can’t have them paying themselves or saving any money.
Same with the market, can’t have them taking profits and come up with all sorts of excuses for that.

$29,000 for an average used car? Would-be buyers are aghast
parts:
DETROIT — A couple of months ago, a woman paid a visit to Jeff Schrier’s used car lot in Omaha, Nebraska. She was on a tight budget, she said, and was desperate for a vehicle to commute to work.
She was shown three cars priced at her limit, roughly $7,500. Schrier said the woman was stunned.
“‘That’s what I get for $7,500? ‘” he recalled her saying. The vehicles had far more age or mileage on them than she had expected for something to replace a car that had been totaled in a crash.
The woman eventually settled on a 2013 Toyota Scion with a whopping 160,000 miles on it. Schrier isn’t sure he made any profit on the deal. “We just helped her out,” he said.
The days when just about anyone with a steady income could wander onto an auto lot and snag a reliable late-model car or buy their kid’s first vehicle for a few thousand dollars have essentially vanished.
“I’ve never seen anything remotely close to this — it’s craziness,” said Schrier, who has been selling autos for 35 years. “It’s quite frustrating for so many people right now.”
“What used to be a $5,000 car,” he said, “is now $8,000. What used to be $8,000 is now $11,000 or $12,000.”
Including taxes, fees, a 10% down payment, and an interest rate of around 7.5%, the average used vehicle now costs $520 a month, even when financed for the average of nearly six years, Edmunds calculated.
To make that payment and afford such other necessities as housing, food and utilities, a household would have to take home about $60,000 a year, or $75,000 before taxes, said Kimberly Palmer, a personal finance specialist at NerdWallet. In 2020, the U.S. median pretax household income was $67,521, the Census Bureau says.
“The average person,” Palmer said, “can’t afford the average used car right now.”

Re Dow/Dog
I would guess some large money is going defensive, dumping the Dog and buying blue chips…which also says they can’t stay away.
Scum still all over the shares
In my very expert opinion, we can’t leave home without them.

BTW – which is the real market? The one we saw yesterday or the one today where the Nasdaq is getting crushed? DOW is too concentrated to us as a gauge.
ipso facto
That’s terrible…some Germans get very introspective and black…..
It really looks like the coup is starting to unravel.

I agree the Life Co’s will sue Big Pharma…but I wonder what will be left, as once enough people wake up to what has been done to them, with Vaxx’s….being sued will be a happy distraction from the howling lynch mob’s all around them.
Same goes for the Rig/scum….I think we can count down the days, as to how long they will stay running the Rig.
Wow!
HEAD OF EAST GERMAN’S BIGGEST HOSPITAL ALLEGEDLY COMMITS SUICIDE AFTER ADMITTING VACCINE IS GENOCIDE
I think the LIFE INSURANCE Companies
should be able to sue BIG PHARMA !
Its easy to figure out WHO the conspirators are
WHOS got the PATENTS on these VAX es…….? Follow the Money….
The book: 1984 was set in the UK. I don’t think this would fly in the US.

Judge grants relief to Navy SEALs who refused coronavirus vaccine, sued Biden administration
A federal judge granted a preliminary injunction on Monday blocking the Defense Department from taking action against a group of 35 Navy sailors who had refused to get a coronavirus vaccine, raising questions on how it might shape the Pentagon’s requirement that all U.S. troops get vaccinated.
U.S. District Judge Reed O’Connor found that the pandemic “provides the government with no license to abrogate” the freedoms that any American has, and that the service members had a right to avoid getting a vaccination on religious grounds.

Big Pharma has been running a HUGE CLINICAL TRIAL at your expense ..they deliberately inject into the VAX vials pollution s ,just to see what kills the most people .They only do about 10 % of them to avoid detection. All big Pharmas are participating jointly in this MAD experiment. They claimed it was labelled EXPERIMENTAL even though they knew what they were doing. They labeled it experimental to avoid being held liable ,so victims couldn’t claim Malicious intent and SUE for damages .ONE BIG SCAM… BUST them UP along with BIG GOVERNMENTS that have one party monopolies. BIDEN is the DISTRACTION ..a bungling FOOL that can be left holding the BAG while the real conspirators get away.
Its just a Conspiracy group they will say that try to expose them ,they problem is they were right ..its is a Hugh conspiracy .

Hey Ipso
My crystal ball is jaded today as well. It is everyday so I try to justify action where it doesn’t seem to exist such as, rates and USD up today, yet gold has not dropped below $1800 and silver is coming back. WTF? That’s a good thing but doesn’t hold the justifications from yesterday.
BTW – Palladium is doing well to start the year. I need to start monitoring PALL.
Just call me confused old friend.
