I had shingles as a teenager (!)  I likely had a damaged immune system from mercury poisoning from dental amalgams…. something I learned much later in life.  But I never want to have shingles again.  Nine years ago I got a true shingles vaccine that was frozen, killed virus.  No problems with me.   I see now on TV they are pushing “Shingrix” which is ‘adjuvanted’…. and that I will NOT take.  I don’t care for the ‘adjuvant’ irritants they add to supposedly make the vaccine work better.  I cannot remember the name of the original non-adjuvanted vaccine I took.

I have also taken the two available Pneumonia shots for us ‘elders’ with no problems.   I cannot speak to the TDAP shots.   But I still will not take the mRNA experiments.

My new doctor said yes when I asked if I should get these. I am 68.  I don’t remember if I had chicken pox as a child in the fifties/early 60’s, but my hazy recollection is that I had most of the diseases kids got in those days.  I have read a little about both shots; side effects seem unpleasant and common, but certainly not worse than the diseases themselves.  Anyone had experience with the shots, or opinions about them?

This time saying Zelensky should allow the country to divide. I’m not seeing anything of that part of the country where they speak Russian that want to go back to living under Putin. If they did they could just crossed the border. Instead there on the front lines holding him back.

But it doesn’t remove my humanity any more than it did some anyways during WW11 when we tried to stay out of Europe’s troubles as the framers warned but see what happened and found out it was just the tip of the iceberg when we found out what happens to the Jews At least we didn’t have idiots egging them on like Biden thinking running their mouth and cancel culture is going to work making things worse.
