comes from lack of confidence,which comes from lack of small challenges .My father had a business and was constantly giving me responsibility in assisting him in small ways and the more I grew accustomed to doing ,the more he gave me to do ,so as a teenager i was accustomed to thinking my way through small problems and I never grew fearsome that I couldn’t accomplish anything I was tasked to do.

I just accepted it all and naturally worked out any problems I had without any doubts .I just never even thought about failure .PRACTICE solving problems until it becomes a normal thing to do..

At age 18 I had 15 people working for me,I grew up in the Garment business .My father gave me NO special treatment ,but he never criticized me personally ,but always let it be known High quality work product was the norm.. period..  He got me get started running my own factory doing my own payroll and training my employees all of which were older than me. I did have some problems with OLDER employees accepting the fact that I was the boss. In high school I was asked by some friends “how are you are so confident about everything you do.? )I just never gave it a second thought ,I just went ahead and did it..practice ,practice builds confidence. I worked every day after school ,work work ,work…got used to it.It builds confidence…..!   I taught myself about stock markets by age 18 and was lucky enough to meet a young Broker that was very smart and I learned a lot from him .He recommended some books that were classics on Wall st.WE worked well together and made some good money.. I was fearless ,not in a arrogant way but born out of confidence that my Dad created in me.

I own Wheaton Precious Metals(WPM),Gabelli Gold fund (GOLDX) ,SGDLX  formally Tocqueville Gold Fund ,now merged into SPROTT organization.   and many smaller companies…..I would stick with the ROYALTIES …..The larger companies like Newmont and Barrack are less volatile stocks ,but the smaller companies may have the biggest % gains if you can stand the volatility…

I would not buy Vanguard Gold Fund..they were working against the interests of Gold owners .Theyre mostly in S&P stocks and have a Conflict of interest owning anything like Gold..It was disgraceful what they put in their Gold FUND ,It was designed to fail…

He would have divided it up just like they did Germany,and banned them from having a Military.
