Officials in Russia had until Monday to return aircraft leased to the country by companies in EU nations, but many have already given up their planes as lost causes. Especially after President Putin signed a law allowing airlines to register leased aircraft as Russian in defiance of international law.

Russia leases most of the aircraft that operate in its fleet from the rest of the world. Those contracts dissolved as sanctions against the country over its invasion of Ukraine mounted, leaving over 400 airplanes in legal limbo. Companies recalled their aircraft and Russia just kept flying them. Putin made it clear they were going to hold on to the planes. It seems to be a mass theft of historic proportions. From Reuters:

Someone came in the premarket and started buying bonds hand over fist dropping the 10 yr. down to 2.41%. The USD is getting crushed, down 1%

Who is the big buyer of bonds? The Fed? They probably know that 2.5% is some kind of breaking point right?

Anyhoo, gold is coming back nicely and the shares have held the 300 level since the open at 296. Bitcoin going nowhere so I assume the QQQ’s won’t either.

After reading one of Armstrong’s post maybe it could be worse with the tax plan the left conquered up. We could be heading for a all out depression and barter system, but then again that could be good for gold and crypto.

However lol I get your unintended consequences or were they but if you look back post war they had the opposite of job openings. Men were coming back had a hard time finding work. I think you misunderstood my post. I don’t condone inflation or the entire system. I was describing how unstable and how values are so distorted and volatile. Crazy up and crazy down. I just noticed heating oil or diesel fuel dropped 13% today. The dollar and gold dropped at the same time. In my view the problems of the “slaves” are spreading upward from the “slaves” and causing problems for the “slave owners”.  We could even say or conclude that the prosperity the USA had between 1945 and 1975 was an unintended consequence an accident or distortion. Or maybe just a result of 75 million people or “slaves” killed during WW II. Huge labor shortage. Lots of job vacancies. Lots of counterfeit money available for fuel too. To me the system is like a fast spinning machine or engine thats out of balance. Vibrating and shaking and can come apart.

I don’t know if Bidens executive order on the rich unrealized gains is BS is for show or not but sure won’t be conducive for keeping jobs or investments in this country.
