Loading ...Ive seen in 78 years….Im used to driving in snow since I lived in NJ as a teen .I used to go out to the Local Park during a snow and practice driving on Ice & snow ,so Im pretty good at it ….Taught myself how to correct slides etc….So I know from experience ..not something I read….
I went out last night with about 5 inches on the ground to the Post Office and what I found was ..I had amazing traction.. in all my experience I never seen anything like it. No snow tires or anything special going on…It was the Snow and this morning I see after what was about 10 inches had fallen ,it stopped accumulating in depth even though it was still coming down very fine and very wet ..The accumulated snow had actually shrunk and was so saturated with a fine wetness to it …It was like someone fine sprayed it with ultra fine mist as it came down ..A very wet snow ,but NOT MELTED SNOW ….Definately not MELTED SNOW..no visable water or melting. It acted like it was Chemically enhanced ! to absorb and hold more water ! It was almost like someone mixed Corn Starch with the SNOW ….
