Maddog – what’s long term? I’ve thought that 25 years was pretty long term. As for the printing, I suspect they’re already doing that, but they keep the mirage of higher rates as an excuse for Wall Street to pound the metals. As far as it depends on the US, gold will never do what it should. It’s going to take the world to force our hand which means we collapse. I’m having a tough time seeing a scenario where we’re alive to enjoy any fruits of our misery.
If someone else sees a different scenario where we achieve fair value and are alive to enjoy it, please post your opinion.
