deer79 – yeah, it doesn’t really matter when, they’re going to slam us at some point over the couple day span. That’s the thing about pm’s, you always know a slam is coming, just don’t always know when. It’s amazing that we went from a raging bull market to an exhausting bear market overnight.
Goldie – I think what deer79 says makes some sense. They’ll please the markets and not hike but slamming pm’s ahead of it, so the best they do when they rally after “no hike” is go back to where they were.
Regardless, there a bottom nearby that’s held 4 times, they’ll probably test it again. Failure there, and everyone who hasn’t thrown in the towel already will capitulate.
The problem I run into when I look at this stuff is that I don’t see a reason for anything to change and jump back into bull mode. If we can’t rally on a day when oil, rates and the dollar are all lower, when can we?
