Food for thought, 1980 $50/oz silver, times 715 (number of ounces in a $1000 face value bag of junk silver coins) came out to $35,750 that same value of a house in my area back then bc Mtg rates were 18%.
A silver peak today at $600/oz, times 715 would be $429,000 for a $1000 face value silver bag. A very low price of a house these days in my area. There were really no ETFs back then for silver that I know of.
