Loading ...A few months ago the retirement community that I live in switched to optical cable , and my personal Netgear device was not a match . A small cable interface box was provided . Even when I am not using WiFi that box is running very hot to the touch , so raising my electricity cost unless I shut it off (which I now do).
I strongly suspect that that little box ( and all my neighbors’ ) are somehow being used as AI Nodes , tranmitting information from any smart device in our homes . and listening to every sound . every conversation , etc. and monitoring usage of even non-smart appliances via analysis of the RLC signature ( Resistance , Inductance , Capacitance ) of electricity consumption . In my kitchen I have a 40 year old GE refrigerator which has never needed repair but does not meet ‘green’ standards . I can imagine a day when the ‘green police’ come to arrest me and confiscate that appliance .
By posting this , I am sure that someone with ties to DC bureaucracies is downgrading my social score . Call me an obcessive paranoid , I don’t care.
