They should of put him over in theater because his outfits may of been a way of wanting to fit in but with his stories and all kinda funny. They could of explained to him along with getting help he may have flourished in comedy and would of helped his tendency for also attention seeking.

Id say collect some barrels of you can tie them down of water with that rain headed your way but you probably have plenty.
That guy probably had some self esteem issues to make up stories like he came up with and kinda delusional, despite what he accomplished. I checked to see if he grew up missing a parent which at tímes wilk make up stories to peers when younger where it starts to fit in who say talk about their parents so they might try to compensare which storys but he wasn’t missing a parent they were immigrants but that could be a cause too maybe even more so not recognizing norms but said in one article he was autistic with global developmental delays I never heard of but mayhd cultural or social.
Accurate or not I don’t know but concerns about his stories or plagiarism should of included concerns about him needing help, he wasn’t hateful or violent maybe just wanted people to like him not just how the school looked. Just cutting him off with no support systems under those circumstances when he meant no harm to anyone was a recipe for a tragic end.
Hurricane LALA hits Hawaii Saturday

Gonna be a wet & wild weekend here. We’re ready for it. Massive water drop expected as all that moisture hits our brick wall of two 14,000 ft mountains.
Well, we held our own this week … digesting big gains
only a burp or two! 🙂
As expected
Gold held below $4400, silver $65
Getting better than half back on the shares so far – so that’s good if it holds.
I think the dollar follows the metals, not the other way around.
Hopefully a big week next week.
An old charts Sng posted on another site long ago. Timing was horrible but price almost hit right on, We just stopped at $986
Next stop after 1000 is $1600 FWIW!

Good first hour
Better than I expected. Hopefully the dollar stays put or falls some more. Silver surprising so far.

“Shorts puking”
I like the sounds of that! 🙂
Hmm
Looks like some shorts may have jumped in yesterday at the first sign of weakness and are rethinking their positions.
Can’t really blame them, it’s worked well for them in the past.
ipso facto
IF GDX is seeing that much buying , then the shorts have sold an awful lot of that.a…Algo’s can’t/don’t read chart patterns …well maybe , they just see another rally to sell into…maybe once we clear this consolidation, they will start to puke.
Morning maddog
The dollar is working for us a little. Retail sales here missed, not hurting us.
Lately the dollar has started weak and come back toward flat during the day. Hopefully not today.
Retail coming in
The Kobeissi Letter
@KobeissiLetter
Retail investors are piling into gold-mining stocks:
The gold miners ETF,
$GDX
, attracted +$9 million in retail inflows on Wednesday, posting its 6th daily inflow over the last 7 trading sessions.
This follows +$17 million recorded on Monday and +$25 million on Friday, the largest daily inflow in at least a year.
By comparison, the previous largest daily inflow in 2026 was +$23 million posted in February.
Overall,
$GDX
has attracted +$419 million in inflows so far this month, putting it on track for its largest monthly intake since February.
Demand for gold miners is skyrocketing.

2q26 first impressions. Decent enough qtr, avg received gold price (C$6,040/oz) was slightly low (often simple bad luck), op costs right on the button, G&A up. Overall: acceptable.
Like strong spend on mine assets
Like the share buybacks
Like adoption of DRIP

have to call this v bullish action, powering up with no news
It may only be a B wave up, with a C down/sideways to come…..but the way it runs as soon as the wave goes up. is v bullish.
Back on track?
I think there’s a chance. No downside follow thru this am for whatever that was yesterday. It seems whenever pm’s go sideways for a few days, it resolves with a move down. I still think there’s a good chance we’re in the beginning of a new bull. We’ll see if I’m high on the hopium.
Right now everything is pretty much flat. The dollar is down slightly.
I’ll go out on a limb and say we recover at least half of what they took yesterday, and they close them up near the round numbers, $4400 and $65.
Hopefully we resume next week.

Dangerous business not even taking into account Black Lung Disease. I’m sure it’s better now but still you are doing good if you’re a coal miner and live to 70. I think people back then were tougher, maybe by necessity. Little safety net … you don’t work and your family doesn’t eat.
ipso, 18:29, Dad was a coal miner in the ’40’s
No chance of smoking underground back then. You were searched for matches, lighters and cigarettes before you got into the cage. Of course, in a coal mine methane was a given, Davy lamps and canaries were the only detection method back then – canaries were not outlawed until the 1980’s in the UK. Claustrophobia? The seam was only two feet high. Rescue teams? Simply the most experienced miners fit enough, but they never had a need at his mines. Neil didn’t mention what you did if you needed a crap ….
