Loading ...Wow isn’t that something. It was 53 yrs for me to counting back when I started in high school and worked as a nursing assistant after school with geriatrics. Very understaffed then. I was even giving out medications left for me with cards next to them. Got to know many born in the 1800s. That’s when I decided things have got to change, for the better and some how got chosen over hundreds admitted in nursing school as a teen. They said they chose the ones most likely to make it through I retired when the time to get vaccinated with Covid shot was up. I warned them though, giving them time to prepare. The CMT was getting worse. Charcot Marie Tooth. They have different types. Apparently mine was late stage, symptoms started later in life. I started tripping walking down the halls. One of the head doctors told me before I left to find a good doctor and stick with them. I asked is it getting that bad, he said yes. I don’t know if things like Covid had something to do with it or not but he seemed very concerned at the time. I could no longer work after retiring anyways after a bad trip to Florida 32 hrs to get there near the same getting back during Covid because over doing things without rest causes even more nerve damage, even if I wanted to. That’s great your working in a clinic, there’s so many people who slip through the cracks who need help.
