Pretty sure that the “religious freedom” section of the First Amendment was intended to allow for different forms of Christianity rather than unknown (to the founding fathers) or just plain weird (and therefore considered superstitions rather than religion) beliefs.
goldie, time to run. I think Russia is about the only remaining option. China is definitely anti-islam, or at least anti-islamic groups, but then, it’s pretty much anti-anything.
