Fauci invokes the 5th Amendment during the Senate hearing on the origins of COVID-19, refusing to answer questions from Congress.
@Buygold
Right I remember that $4500 low. It held for about 5 weeks and suddenly started dropping to $4000. I think $4000 is the bottom now, holding for 4 weeks now. Gold will always surprise us.
I knew on day one that war was a big mistake. I suspect Iran was getting ready for decades and was happy to get attacked so they can show the USA and Israel and the world their abilities.

China invested $18 billion in gold mining deals since 2004

GLD and SLV are positive!
You have to be kidding!
Gee, will the shares turn too?
Tough bet to make.
gold & silver…
…getting frisky to the upside.
leaks and/or rumors from the fomc meeting ??
edit: nice little pennant building just under $58. (one minute candles)
Mr. Copper
You always want to argue!🤣
Look at the year to date prices, not the 52 week numbers. I should have clarified.
BTW, did you ever recover from the broken arm you got after patting yourself on the back for the $4500 bottom call? Just kidding. This stuff makes fools out of the best in the business. Seriously.
I remember hearing that being early is the same as being wrong. We’ve all been right about gold going up to $5K, but I know I never thought it would take 25 years.
@Buygold re HL, AG, EXK
My one year chart shows HL up 131% AG up 80% and EXK up 34%. Naturally they were all much much higher in Feb and March.
Click on One Year it shows percent gain.
Drb2, Goldie
drb2 – 30 years beats my 25 for sure. I’ve already got one foot in the looney bin. Another 5 years of this and I’ll be in a straitjacket. 🤣 The funny thing is I still have hope, even on a day like today. That’s serious illness. 😞
Goldie – laugh now, but I think that’s pretty much the plan. You can bet that each chip will be equipped with a kill switch. They surely won’t need 8 billion useless eaters.
It never ceases to amaze how often the shares get murdered even when the metals aren’t down much. Nothing else does that. Look at RIO, it doesn’t trade with tech or the DOW. So corrupt.
Buygold
Lol That might be a better choice. Dig this scenario. All these computers, data centers and AI need rare earths. There’s not enough to go around. It would be much easier to insert small chips in humans and control them like robots and don’t require electricity.
“don’t fight the Fed”
I know it is best to BUY whenever I feel ‘sick to my stomach’, but is easier said than done. 30 years of beatings will do that.
The phrase “never bet against the Federal Reserve” (often paired with “don’t fight the Fed”) is a widely used Wall Street maxim rather than a line attributed to a single famous individual.
It stems from market wisdom popularized by legendary stock market analyst Martin Zweig, who coined the rule “don’t fight the Fed” in his 1986 book Winning on Wall Street. [1, 2, 3, 4, 5]
Origins and Context
- Market Maxim: It is a generalized financial proverb reflecting the immense power of central bank monetary policy over asset prices. [1]
- Related Quotes: It is frequently combined or confused with Warren Buffett’s famous statement, “Never bet against America,” as noted by Baron Public Affairs. [1, 2]
- Modern Usage: Prominent business leaders and market strategists, such as former Cisco CEO John Chambers and various Goldman Sachs macro traders, frequently invoke the phrase to describe how central bank liquidity drives market trends. [1, 2]
GDX trying to hold that bottom
probably about as good as it gets for now.
Goldie – if they raise, these markets will crumble. That, and oil shortages may have been the plan all along. Problem, reaction, solution. They’ll be able to save us with the new CBDC system. I’m hoping this benefits my kids at some point.
Actually, I have another theory. The oil shortages will intensify, and the world economic system will collapse. Then they’ll introduce the aliens as the saviors, who will say they created us and have been around forever. Then they’ll promise free energy, because they will reactivate the pyramids, which are actually a grid system for energy. Things will be fine for a couple years; they’ll get everyone chipped and usher in the new one world system.
Buygold
Lol lol 😂 I’m still stacking for that reason, for when I’m not alive and out of the grips of banksters or digital.
Seems to me
The only thing that’s gonna scare the shorts is like Hunter said when the market tanks next time then PMs really take off makes sense if they did raise the interest rates then reverse to dropping them or at least no intention to raise them.
Right now we have rumor of pending doom expecting a rate increase at some point.. are they going to raise the rates this time , and if not maybe next.. then next …
New lows for the year on a lot of the silvers
HL, AG, EXK, etc. it just goes on and on.
Maddog – what’s long term? I’ve thought that 25 years was pretty long term. As for the printing, I suspect they’re already doing that, but they keep the mirage of higher rates as an excuse for Wall Street to pound the metals. As far as it depends on the US, gold will never do what it should. It’s going to take the world to force our hand which means we collapse. I’m having a tough time seeing a scenario where we’re alive to enjoy any fruits of our misery.
If someone else sees a different scenario where we achieve fair value and are alive to enjoy it, please post your opinion.
Maddog
I don’t know about phyzz trades but I think they’re shorting and covering, buying, then going short and selling again.
After watching those videos of the Chinese guy ” a real one” it makes sense to me why gold goes down and dollar up Everytime the war heats up. Anyone who wanted to liquidate over there already it. Because this war was never about the reasons they said it was, Isreal has its own ideas but it was about the dollar especially after the Biden group screwed up and weaponized it with Russia. After the politicians enabled the outsourcing of our industrials we have nothing much left to sell except a few resources and weapons so now they have another idea with our oil. Apparently we don’t have enough to keep our prices down at the same time.
Holding the PMs in UK and EU who don’t even have that and their looney politicians have their own ideas about war with Russia a suicide mission have a better reason to hold as much phyzz as they can buy or a off the grid housw far away from the city or another country. Maybe holding other currency’s too.
Very obvious there are sellers or a seller who will not let the PM’s rally
so who can sell and sell, day after day other than the Fed, or a mad punter…..if it is the Fed, then they must have given up on dealing with debt, via a Gold revaluation, which basically means they will print and print…aka bullish for Gold in the long term, or a mad punter who may yet get stopped….
As so far it looks like there are buyers .
Best we can hope for
they don’t cut and we bounce back to flat.
These silver shares are a joke.

Morning deer79
I find myself always wishing I sold the last high. My buddy called me and asked what I was doing when silver was ripping and of course, I told him I was going to hang on until I could start trading the metals for real estate – that’s always been the plan for me. He sold on the exact day of the high around $113, I think the dealer gave him around $107 an ounce for eagles. I think he had 3K oz.
Right now, if someone offered me $107, and $5600 for gold, I’d take it and walk away.
I’m sick of this.
Hmmm

Signs of a Decaying Empire
– National debt out of control
– Unaffordable interest payments
– Foreigners invading
– Military over extended
– Public infrastructure in decay
– Politicians looting the system as it fails
Have become
so inured to this BS, that it almost makes me laugh. Of course it’s Fed decision day, so the scum have to take the metals down, and re-re-re test the lows.
