So many crap videos, the AI personalities are fairly easy to detect but it’s still just dishonest. Although sign I guess the same could be said for the guys that put their actual faces on video with wild predictions that sound so convincing.
We are in a world where discernment is more important than ever.
I kinda agree with deer79’s take that the market is over estimating the chance of rate hikes. Then again, if oil heads back over $100 who knows?
All the info coming out about this Iran thing is really tough to disseminate. It’s hard for me to believe it’s not going to really escalate.
Whatever that little bounce in pm’s was appears to be over. Still don’t understand gold being down during geopolitical strife.
They can be educational but nothing we don’t already know. It appears someone not only wants views and money. He may be pro PMs or not but it’s deceiving implying that he’s so petty going to go on YouTube and insinuating use his position for monetary gain. The only one petty is the one doing it. In 2025 PMs were moving up nicely on their own until the talking heads came out and the speculators came in and a stampede started. That about the only thing the videos are good for me sides entertainment is a warning a stampede is coming. We can’t complain too much but if it gets too high too fast it causes a crash.
So the nice slow move up going unnoticed suddenly turns into a buying frenzy beyond cause that then has to be halted. Then the spectators run to the shorting frenzy.
I think this warning will reflect more in the future not all at once in the present unless things happen than a sudden fast crash in the dollar.

I had no idea that that there was a series of those videos. What a waste of time. IMO any impersonation without acknowledgement should suffer legal consequences.
What a shame – Warsh and Bessett are known to be pro PM and it has been my dream that Trump would use the 250th Anniversary to announce a significant change to our monetary system.

Not only has the market priced in a 75% chance of a hike in September, and 1.25 hikes by the December meeting, most have also taken any chance of a cut off the table. I think that is missing the path that I believe Warsh is trying to create. We argued last weekend, The Fed and Rates, that Warsh had curtailed the tail risk on the long end of the curve. We switched from bearish to neutral on the long end of the curve (10s went from 4.46% to 4.37% this week). The more we think about it, the more we believe that he has started us on a path, that despite his hawkish rhetoric, sets up for a cut in September to be followed by another cut in October,
Here we go again. How many times are people going to be led by the nose of manipulation in PM. If the signs of a temporary reversal starting gate and have to see from there here comes the talking heads ready to exploit it.
The video is AI and they have them on quite a few people now but doesn’t mean they were made by the real person. I don’t think in his position he could start making videos of promoting PMs or even the fiat since his position working for the Fed needs to be neutral based on data. It’s not him.
They have them on Warren Buffett and now even M Armstrong.
Ai videos pretending to be him suddenly came out apparently 9 days ago. It’s not the first. PUMP AND DUMP SCHEMES. PLUS EASY U TUBE MONEY.

I didn’t really find anything that was new to me in it. BUT I wondered if this can possibly be the SAME Kevin Warsh that just days ago became the new HEAD of the FED !!
If it is – holy crap – something IS UP – in my lifetime the Fed has NEVER talked like this.
Here is another thought. After a couple minutes listening I advanced to 2x speed.
At 2x speed I noticed something – the speaker’s style was familiar to me – the recently popular “Asian Guy” and other financial Ai’s like him had exactly the same style.
They came out of the blue and seemed very ‘plugged in’.
IS it possible Warsh was one of those guys!!!???
If it was – hold on to your hats – this is going to be a July to remember.

BREAKING: Iranian state media says it has now “no choice but to obtain the atomic bomb” to remove “the military option for the occupation and partitioning of Iran” from the table, arguing Iran must “absolutely reach nuclear deterrence” before current negotiations can be conducted “from a correct position,” per Fars.
Iran adds the acquisition is not only driven by negotiation leverage but also by Trump’s two recent nuclear threats against Iran, including his April warning that “a whole civilization will die tonight” and his May threat of “one big glow coming out of Iran.”
This is also among the most direct nuclear weapons advocacy published on Iranian state media to date.

Those that argue solar fares don’t pass through the earths crust and that earthquakes will happen despite flares because of the plates and they don’t always move in harmony. Others see some possible relations to them like affecting the ionosphere and more. Etc etc etc etc etc and etc
My next door neighbor let his grass get a little too high. Talking over the fence he tells me he’s gone through three batteries for his electric mower and is still not going to be able to finish. 🙂

Prominent US war hawk John Bolton has pled guilty to violating the Espionage Act after previously demanding execution for whistleblowers Edward Snowden & Chelsea Manning and 176 years in prison for publisher Julian Assange.
As part of a plea agreement, Bolton admitted to unlawfully retaining sensitive national security information. He now faces up to 5 years in prison, up to 3 years of supervised release, a $2.25 million fine, forfeiture of his pension, and is due to be sentenced on 28 October.

Goldie, Overton – today and tomorrow are potentially big days for earthquakes and volcanoes around the world after some massive solar activity in the last few days. We’ll see but the solar activity has been off the charts lately. Birth pangs.
Thanks for the site. Earthquakes or bigger ones seem to be more numerous buy haven’t looked into it. This one around the world not related to each other seemed different.
Have to be in geology or focused on one area. The reason is in some places there’s a balance between thinning and thickening via volcanoes, especially underwater and subduction zones. Other areas might be different. The earth core cooling over time might have something to do with it too but don’t quote me on that.

Strange for all these quakes in summer. We had a 5.6 in Calif about the same time as Venezuela. I got the alert on my phone but quite a distance away and with building codes generally things fall off shelves. Japan had a 6.9 then Venezuela but none related. Now another one in the mid east.
An earthquake 6.2 magnitude struck Afghanistan on Saturday, according to the National Centre for Seismology (NCS). Tremors were also felt across several parts of north India. The quake occurred at 7.04pm , it struck at a depth of 215 km beneath the surface, the NCS said.
