I can’t argue with any of that. The final bottom for the world’s economy may be far below what we expect. Low income countries are going to be hurt the most. Probably be lots of political unrest, revolutions and so on.

If the strait is opened soon maybe we avoid the worst. I surely hope so.

I don’t know where you got the info on the hard date for Spacex but it’s this Friday. I happened to talk to one of my brokers today about it because I never bought a IPO allocated because they get flipped most thd time. The difference with this one is that institutions will be buying it too. I don’t think they’re going to flip it. I’m sure it will be volatile though.  He said he hopes there’s enough to go around. It’s kinda like a lottery.

And the longer it goes on under Trump’s banner of “Hope” (where have we seen that before as a presidential strategy?) the closer to tank bottoms we get. Most pundits have already got the world economy well beyond the point of no return as far as that’s concerned  even if Hormuz restarted in full today.

BREAKING: Iran rejects Trump’s claim today that a deal is “very close” and that Iran is “interested” in signing it, with an Iranian official telling CNN that Iran “has no objection to talking with the US,” anymore, and the reason for Trump’s call to Netanyahu to stop the planned much larger third Israeli attack on Iran today was not any imminent agreement or ceasefire like Trump claimed.

A long time ago I worked with a guy from Poland who was in the Polish military. He told me that the USA was an Israeli colony. I guess he was right.

I’m not pointing out another stock, that said they’re likely talking about Fervo energy case if anyone reading this wonders what company their talking about that uses thermal heat but the unintended consequences of the war with Iran.

Two months ago, the United States went to war with Iran. We blockaded the Strait of Hormuz. We froze another $25 billion of a sovereign nation’s foreign reserves. And we showed unequivocally that the U.S. dollar is not a neutral asset. It’s not the first time either. We weaponized the dollar against Russia in 2022. The lesson for every other government holding dollars was the same: hold U.S. paper, and Washington decides when you can use it. And the world has been listening. For 20 years — from 1990 to 2009 — central banks were net sellers of gold. They didn’t want it. They preferred Treasuries. Then in 2010, the trend reversed. From 2010 to 2021, central banks bought an average of 473 tonnes of gold per year. Then we weaponized the dollar against Russia. In 2022 – when the U.S. and Europe froze $300 billion of Russian central bank reserves — global central banks bought 1,136 tonnes of gold. The highest single-year total on record. Then 1,051 tonnes in 2023. Then 1,045 tonnes in 2024. Then 863 tonnes in 2025. And in Q1 of this year alone, 244 tonnes. But here’s what almost nobody is reporting: According to the World Gold Council, 57% of central bank gold buying is now unreported. More than half. Hidden from public disclosure. Which means the true number being moved out of dollars and into gold is closer to 2,000 tonnes a year — and we’re only seeing the part that governments are willing to admit to. I predicted this would happen years ago. In 2011, I released a documentary called The End of America. More than 40 million people watched it. The financial press mocked it. The mainstream media called it preposterous. I made several predictions: That the dollar’s run as the world’s reserve currency was ending. That the American middle class was being quietly strip-mined by a monetary system rigged in favor of Washington and Wall Street. That the country’s social fabric was coming apart in ways the political class refused to see. That the whole arrangement was headed for a crisis unlike anything America had faced since the 1930s. Almost everything I predicted has now come to pass. The one thing I got wrong was timing. I thought the final crisis would already be here. It isn’t. But the data says it’s closer than it’s ever been. This isn’t just my view. The historians William Strauss and Neil Howe described an 80-to-100-year “Fourth Turning” cycle that ends in monetary and political reordering. Ray Dalio, the founder of the world’s largest hedge fund, calls it the “Big Cycle” — and says we are in late Stage 5, one step before the collapse phase. The last Fourth Turning ended with the Great Depression and World War II. The one before that, the Civil War. The one before that, the American Revolution. I expect the next five to ten years to bring the kind of events that only happen every three or four generations… and I expect a lot of hard-working, middle-class families to be wiped out by what our government has done to our currency. If there’s a silver lining, and there is one, it’s this: no individual American has to pay for the sins of dollar debasement. You don’t have to fix the deficit. You don’t have to refinance the unpayable national debt. You don’t have to argue politics with your neighbor. All you have to do is position your portfolio for what’s coming. You do that by making gold the anchor — exactly the way every central bank on Earth is doing it right now. Which is why, back in January, I sat down with the one person I trust more than anyone on gold and gold mining stocks. His name is Garrett Goggin. Seems I and a few others got the numbers badly wrong….Musk is looking to raise @ $ 75 Billion, which would give Space X a valuation of $ 1.75 to $ 2 Trillion….he is not raising $ 1.75 Trillion plus….and the IPO has yet to have a hard date…but looks like late June…..so all that selling was note necessarily down to Space X…especially as there is no hard date yet…

yes, I hope you’re right too, but it sure seems like they’ve had a lot of successful attacks on their neighbors and have done a lot of damage to U.S. bases in the region with many of them uninhabitable. 15 U.S. servicemen dead, over 500 wounded.

I agree with you. Any attacks on oil infrastructure in the region must be met with total destruction of their oil production capabilities. Trump is trying to keep the oil flowing around the world. He should have never done this, it was poorly planned and he was duped by Netanyahu and Lady Lindsey Graham and his staff – Suzie Wiles, etc. However, now he’s in it, so if they do that, he has to respond in kind – on steroids.

It’s already too late to save the world from the coming shortages and economic collapse.

Soon, Congress will be turning over our military to Israel. Will Trump sign off on it?

If so, it will mark the end of the American empire.

BREAKING: Iran says it has now fully blocked the Bab el-Mandeb Strait, along with the complete closure of the Strait of Hormuz, with the next step being strikes on oil, gas and energy infrastructure of US-allied Gulf countries in response to today’s Israeli strikes on the Petrochemical Complex, per a source close to Iran’s Ghalibaf.

I’m surprised the US and Israel aren’t bombing the crap out of Iran this morning! I guess it’s Israel being attacked but not US targets at this time. I just woke up so haven’t seen much so far.

That Hormuz letter, is making far too much of Iran’s capability…..when all this started Iran was sending 100’s of missiles/drones a day…now they are lucky if they get 10 away a day….as soon as a Missile takes off, or even before, the site gets blasted…end of site/launcher.

I seriously doubt they get a penny in Tolls, as every ship will get checked by the US Navy and then how does the money get to them, all foreign banking is shut down, they would have to move the money by van…but from where to where. Meanwhile they have zero other income and Tousi is saying there are no signs of the foreign mercenaries in Iran, which suggests they may have gone back home, due to not being paid.

And now the students are getting back onto the streets…..my guess is the end is coming fast.

I will say, it’s good that Israel hit the petrochemical plant. It seems that the US sort of laid off a lot of those type of installations. That might be what it takes to really end this thing. I don’t know.

Israel won’t stop in Lebanon though and Iran continues to say they will defend it, so I don’t know what’s really changed.

You know I heard in one of Armstrong’s videos that Mc Cain was the one bringing up and pushing the climate change. The reason was he was after depleting oil money to weaken Russia, he was another  neocon.
