Loading ...…for what happened to Lahaina. Fire moves fast in a 50mph windstorm. Many people refused or just plain didn’t have time to evacuate. One lady interviewed said they left the house in two cars, with the two sons in the following car. They lost track of the lagging car while driving thru the firestorm, and now cannot locate the two sons that were driving in that car. Officially reported at missing. Another lady reported her father refused to evacuate the house, and now his fate is unknown also. It was fast, and it was apocalyptic. At least with a volcanic lava eruption one has time to get out of the way. In Lahaina, some people did not get thru the flames while attempting to evacuate. The stories are heart-wrenching.
