I know there’s a lot of things I don’t understand about European history, and who holds grudges with Russia. I think our psychopaths here in this country would love to see Poland start something with Belarus, or vice versa. It appears almost inevitable to me that WW3 is on the way, and for what?

This is a dark time for the world, but I also think we’re entering a time of bright light and miracles. I think both can happen at the same time. I have no clue how things will end, but I doubt it will end well for the US. Biden has destroyed everything we need to make our country strong economically, much less fight a war.

So, I’m in the hospital, might need a stint put in to get this old heart working properly. Been having some chest pain and been feeling tired. Workouts got hard. Then last night after I walked the dog, my chest was heavy and my fingernails were blue. Same this am, so went to the ER. They’re doing a stress test and angiogram in the morning. I’m in great shape, but I’ve abused my body and it’s catching up.

No fear of death. I’m good with God.

Really don’t know what this country will look like in a year, but the insanity in this world is exhausting.

OTOH – futures are down around 1%, which really is nothing. Noticed the VIX is up 13% this am.

Dollar up slightly, because after all it is so powerful and in great demand around the world, not to mention the cleanest shirt in a filthy basket. 10 yr down 2 bips.

Which brings us to pm’s. Up a smidge, but gains that may not last in a down SM. Shares are flat, will be near impossible for them to go up in a down SM.

Oil still a stallion, up another 1%.

Anyhoo, all this is one big mirage of riches, which I’m finding becomes more meaningless as I get older. Especially in a western world that has completely lost its mind.

I didn’t see it till the night before today they could no longer sell them. They mentioned they sold at the dollar store and I remembered I picked up a couple of lights there a couple yrs ago. I didn’t pay attention to the brand but how much light it gives. I have one lamp not just one but that one  that I use but didn’t want bright that runs 24 seven and that light the first one of two is still going strong after a couple of years and doesn’t get hot. Not getting hot would be particularly good for kids rooms or where they could get knocked over or had to change right away
I’m not sure what brand it is that’s bad for you. I’m going to have to look it up again but the reason it  isn’t good is because it flickers really fast, so fast you can’t see it but it can affect you. Light bulbs isn’t something I haven’t paid too much attention to.
