I call it willful stupidity….been happening in the US now for years…

Posted by silverngold @ 23:01 on August 25, 2023

For example, Barak Obama….AKA Barry Satoro  (sp)…. came to the US as a foreign exchange student…..nobody ever knew him at school….his grandmother said he was born in Kenya SA…. his Hawaii birth certificate had something like 26 changes made to it and belonged to some girl….the registrar who verified its authenticity  mysteriously died in a plane crash in which nobody else died….his wife Michael and their two borrowed kids moved into the Whitehouse and Obama served two terms and is now serving his third term using Biden as his hand puppet.  I call it willful stupidity! What do you call it????????????? All IMO!!

Ramaswamy

Posted by goldielocks @ 18:08 on August 25, 2023

He should Americanize his name like many immigrants did once to Ramas or something. His name sounds like something out of a Aladdin story. Are people going to want to elect someone’s who’s name  they can’t even spell or pronounce.
At least he doesn’t do vaccines I hope.
But that and his fast solutions although he can make a one sided argument without a mutual solution, without thinking about the resistance, consequences or complications to ally’s instead of negotiations and resolutions.   I wonder at this point if we have any real ally’s.  The world seems to look at us like a welfare office. Oh yes come visit president, now we’ll tell you what we  want, give us money. Yes bring your business here and sign out your rights to it.
He sees that though but pills although have saved most of us at one time or another to a faster recovery, pain or their life it’s become the quick fix mentality that’s formed today. That’s why they lined up for the jab. It’s less work than treating it if they get it and ignoring the risks of the jab, the quick fix.

Whoa, what kind of business did Ramaswamy run?

Posted by goldielocks @ 17:32 on August 25, 2023

biotech???!!!

This explains something about the Covid stance. He’s a smart guy or well versed. I’m guessing very high IQ but can he use it to persuade people for his own reason? I like his summary on trans and the word tyrant sums it up.

Ramaswamy was a hedge fund analyst at QVT. At the age of 29, he founded Roivant Sciences, a biotechnology firm in 2014. Roivant creates subsidiaries that develop drugs that which are neglected by larger pharmaceutical makers. The company has a market capitalization of $8.87 billion as of Thursday morning.7 hour

He made his money running a drug-development company named Roivant Sciences, which is best known for its high-profile failure with an Alzheimer’s drug. Ramaswamy founded the company nine years ago and took it public in 2021.

I am surprised that the CEO , Eiger has not had a stockholder revolt , but I suppose Blackrock et al are the biggest shareholders . Amazing what Alladin can do to manipulate stocks … in fractions of a second . Reminds me of what Rothschild managed to do to British bonds the morning after Waterloo .

We have the worse admin and non elected picks and Soros funded DAs turning city’s  into hell holes in history. What could go wrong.
Mayberry has pointed to things getting bad enough there might be a need of military type  intervention to get rid of them all. Seems to me though that every country that did that wound up with a totalitarian dictatorship rule or hope it isn’t a neocon that has no clue how to run a economy. so they will have put constitutional abiding people although sigh the few that are still there in charge and bring our money back home.

COT Report …

…looks encouraging.

CFTC Commitments of Traders Report – CMX (Futures Only)

Even though the changes in silver appear inconsequential – the fact the commercials were so restrained post this reporting period indicated they are not willing to go short now (even though traders think “deflation” is dead ahead, which is why they are shorting gold and silver).

Notice silver has gone from ~ $22 to ~$24 with no appreciable increase in open interest.

Metals Daily Exchange Volume & Open Interest – CME Group

Once some semblance of stability returns to the equity complex silver is poised to make a run for the roses.

Cheers all

Yes, and the GDX gap was also filled if not to the penny.

The longer this process takes the bigger the move on the other side.

The idiots in charge think they are so smart, but they are about to get the lesson of a lifetime.

I thought it was funny too although it’s a shame Disney has gone down this path. I hear the new Snow White movie is so woke as to be unwatchable.

Saudi Arabia, Iran, UAE, Ethiopia, Egypt and Argentina have been admitted to the BRICS block.

I know SM traders are clueless, but this should hurt the dollar. If the Saudi’s say no more dollars, we get poor overnight.

Even more reason to elect a President that wants us to be oil independent.

Mortgage rate trends in the 1980s

Posted by Mr.Copper @ 13:15 on August 25, 2023

The 30-year fixed mortgage rate reached a pinnacle of 18.4 percent in October 1981, according to Freddie Mac, seesawing down to the 9 percent range by 1986 and closing the decade at 9.78 percent. The 1970s oil embargo against the U.S., which drove up inflation quickly, contributed to the increased borrowing costs.

Comment: The houses near me were about $40,000 from 1968 until 1982, because of the removal of the gold standard and the Fed raised rates from around 5% to 18% so there were no price rises for 14 years. The stock market was in the same boat.

One speaker per sell order lol Powell clearly said they are not going to stop until we are clearly in a recession with a downward spiral. Economy has to pay for congress out of control spending and misappropriation of funds.

There’s a gap in GLD from a few days ago that looks like it’s been filled today

Posted by Buygold @ 11:42 on August 25, 2023

between 176 and say 178. All gaps in gold must be filled.

Seems like we’re recovering and the USD is backing off a bit.

Silver looking strong. Hopefully we can right this ship today as the SM recovers some.

NVDA was down $19, now down $12 – if that keeps coming back it’s off to the races for the SM.

After all, they can’t have the SM look bad when the God’s of money speak.

Yeah, most people are just uninformed or worse, misinformed. You’re from a part of the country where it’s not a surprise really. I suspect half or more of the people here would say the same thing, a lot of brainwashed dummies from the Northeast, just unfriendly, nasty people, like almost all libtards are. They preach tolerance, but are the opposite of tolerant. Inconsiderate “me first” crowd. Then we have some great people from what I’d call the upper midwest – Michigan, Ohio, Indiana, etc. just quality people.

The real war is on truth, and if they watch any MSM, including FOX, all they get is propaganda – all of them are pro war.

Had to just puke when Nikki Haley said “climate change is real” in the debates. There is something that makes these people so afraid, or something they get for towing the line.

As far as Russia, I think it’s part of a bigger effort that started in Europe with migration – an effort to destroy white people by shaming them and breeding them out. Now, they’ve done it here with an open border. Christians are another major target. I won’t get into why, but it is pure evil.

Many people I talk to about the Ukraine War think we’re doing the right thing, that the evil Russians are trying to take them over. They are MSM brainwashed and know nothing of the underlying causes. It seems to be pointless to argue with them.

I think most Americans don’t want or even understand the Ukraine war. Our cities are falling apart and the uniparty spends $200 billion in Ukraine.

The RINO’s are worse than the Demons to me. They are traitors to Republicans and to our President. Where is Republican RINO Kemp in Georgia? Why aren’t AG’s in red states around the country filing criminal charges against every Demon they can find?

All we the people want is for someone to fight for us.

Our country is a disgrace. God help us if they jail or kill Trump.

To send special forces into Mexico to attack the cartels is an incredibly stupid idea IMO. Reason enough not to support DeSantis.

GOP talk of military action in Mexico sparks dire warnings

Rising GOP support for the U.S. taking unilateral military action in Mexico against drug cartels is increasingly rattling people on both sides of the border who worry talk of an attack is getting normalized.

Wednesday’s Republican presidential primary debate featured high-stakes policy disagreements on a range of issues from abortion to the environment — but found near-unanimous consensus on the idea of using American military force to fight drug smuggling and migration.

Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis made the strongest pledge on the stage with his response to Fox News moderator Martha MacCallum asking whether he would support sending U.S. special forces into Mexico to “take out fentanyl labs, to take out drug cartel operations.”

“Yes. And I will do it on day one,” said DeSantis.

Thanks I’ll check out the Ramaswamy interview. I like his Ukraine War stance. I think the Ukraine war is a good litmus test for political candidates. If they are for more war there then I am against them. I am against all the pro war neocons and shudder at the risks they are exposing us all to.
