We have rallied @ 100 bucks in 5 waves in Gold,,,,now a small correction in 3 down, then fast up …if that happens Mr Copper is right.. he usually is. !!!!

Dollar up .2%, so appears it still has a little juice. I like to use UUP as a proxy, there’s a big gap just above here at 28 – 28.10 that it looks like will be filled, probably today. 10 yr. is flat.

They’ve got gold down $8, sliding right back down through $1965, (that was such tough resistance) silver only down $.04

Oil is up over 1% just above $76.50

Too early to get a sense of the shares and where they are. The SM is up a bit, even the Nasdaq. Then again, it’s up almost every day and has been for years.

So, while we watch Rome burn, gold continues to be held in check, because it is simply the single most important asset in the world.

ZH has an article by Doug Casey that I haven’t read, but from the headline it sounds like he doesn’t think the BRICS gold backed currency will fail. I’m not a Casey fan because he’s an arrogant prick. Doesn’t mean he isn’t right though.

Silver shares outperforming again. Outside of the HUI which of course is dominated by NEM, maybe I’m too optimistic, but things don’t look all that bad.

Maybe they’ll devastate us into the close, but I don’t think so. Then again, I’m wrong a lot.

If the PM market doesn’t seem like it’s rigged … then we think we have a chance. At least we know the long term favors us no matter what.

So, they’ve got the HUI back below the 50 dma – barely, I expect we might close above it though. GLD still holding above as the 200 dma is turning higher like it may cross the 50 but stalling just a bit.

Volume isn’t too crazy.

So far maddog’s theory is holding water as far as the SM down with pm’s. Although the DOW is bucking the trend for some unknown reason. The Nasdaq appears to be in a little trouble, but it will bounce right back tomorrow.

The dollar and rates are bouncing pretty hard. So at least this little pullback makes sense.
