up over 2% right now. It’s gone from $3.75 to $3.91 in the last week. The copper stocks a strong (because they actually follow the metal) with the large caps up 3+%

Dollar was down most of the night but has now flipped positive because the 10 yr. is up 2 bips above 3.90%. So go rates, so goes the dollar I guess.

Silver up 1%, gold up a few bucks. Hard to see that lasting if the dollar persists in strength. So, we’re still straddling around the 50 dma in GLD and the HUI. On the fence, as usual.

The game hasn’t changed, paper still trumps rock.

GOP candidate Vivek Ramaswamy sues World Economic Forum in landmark case

Republican presidential candidate Vivek Ramaswamy is suing the World Economic Forum, claiming the Swiss-based organization falsely portrayed him as one of its “young global leaders” and refused to take his name off its website for two years.

Ramaswamy, 37, the son of immigrants from India who says he is worth $500 million, does not want to be associated with the WEF’s “progressive” and “radical” policies and positions, according to the lawsuit, which was filed Wednesday in a Cincinnati, Ohio, court.

Major political figures as varied as Russia’s Vladimir Putin, then-German Chancellor Angela Merkel, French President Emmanuel Macron and Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau have been “Young Global Leaders” (YGLs) under the aegis of the WEF.

Technically UUP filled the gap this am between 28-28.10 and has now retreated back below 28. I’d like to see it resume the downside. The 10 yr. is down 4 bips to 3.80%. Both should be favorable to our metals, should being the operative word. So far, so good. PM’s are up a little.

Fed meeting this week, which is never a good thing, regardless of whether they raise or not, whether they’re done raising or not. Rare occasion when we respond favorably on the day or day after – they’ll stuff us one way or another.

The COT report is on my mind. Explains why we paused last week. It’s almost as if the scum had to match the longs with their shorts just to keep the metals in check. Still, I imagine open interest is pretty high in silver now. Mr. Copper follows that, I don’t have a clue. Just haven’t seen a scenario where heavy scum shorting hasn’t worked to bring prices down.

I’m the only house in the neighborhood without an outdoor dog or three, so the feral cats invade my yard at night.  They trip the solar motion-sensor lights on occasion.  I guess flushing the catshit into the lawn is a small price to pay.  They DO keep the rats away!

But the yeowling during mating season keeps me up sometimes.

They tried that all electric BS  in Calif and they shut them down. They’re still trying to sneak around it like rats that come out at night in certain cities. They’re crazy.
