didn’t realize yesterday it was up near $80 a barrel. Our local gas is now $3.69 a gallon, up $.40 over the last few weeks.

Always funny how that happens. As oil rises, gasoline prices rise much faster. When they come down, it takes forever for gasoline to come back with it. Greed.

As a side note, the RSI on the DOW is up around 75. We’ve seen RSI’s stay elevated for a long time when it comes to the SM though.

Whether it is or not, that’s what we’re getting. USD down a bit after a reversal yesterday which completely filled the gap. Who’s says T/A doesn’t work? OOPS, I guess that was me! We’ll see if it works after the Fed meeting.

The copper shares are giving some back this am, pm shares flat and probably will be for most of the day.

At this point, I’m not sure the Fed is relevant anymore, and the pm reactions are almost always the same. If we rally after the meeting, they’ll take the gains back either tomorrow or Friday. If we don’t rally, we’ll probably just get hit for a couple days.

We’re still teetering on the edge, and in the background is a buttload of short contracts in silver.

Shares are the key IMHO.
