Blackstone Real Estate Fund Faces High Redemptions for Several Quarters, Says

Posted by Mr.Copper @ 15:54 on December 8, 2022

Here we go again. LOL. Leamon Bros, Bit Coin, FTX, Bernie Madoff redemptions II. Its called breit, you need $1 million to get in, invested in commercial rentals etc. Withdrawals are getting limited. With all the quality stuff looking bad, maybe all the allegedly crappy stuff like AU AG will start looking great, another reversal.

Story

Blackstone’s big retail real estate fund could see heavy redemptions at its 5% quarterly limit through the third quarter of 2023, according to a note Thursday from Credit Suisse CSGN +3.19% analyst Bill Katz—the lone bear on Blackstone among roughly 20 Wall Street analysts covering it.

Blackstone Real Estate Income Trust—a real estate investment trust (REIT) with a net asset value of $69 billion—said last week it was putting up redemption limits after withdrawal requests exceeded its 5% quarterly limit in the current quarter.

ipso facto @ 12:53 Roger that, But Overall with Global Powers “God” it doesn’t matter who we elect.

Posted by Mr.Copper @ 13:24 on December 8, 2022

Elect for local little crap. Local elected officials including local presidents are forced to work with what is handed to them by global special interests. Independence and isolation, divorcees, from all global special interests, and the other sponge needy baby making countries voting with their hand out all the time at UN meetings has resulted in what we have today.

Right if guys were paid well out of high school, even as burger flippers, they would be able to buy a car get a girlfriend, get married and their Wife would keep them off drugs and out of trouble. Especially after a child or two to support.

It doesn’t matter anymore. The people with their hands out at the UN has been the USA since the meltdown in 2008.

You could say: Don’t take drugs!

… but in the bigger picture: Don’t move your manufacturing overseas!

I think a lot of those people would be decent citizens if there were jobs for them when they were young. If they’d gotten into the habit of supporting themselves, having some pride, having a family.

PS and don’t elect democrats to Mayor etc!

@ipso facto 9:46 Video Kensington St, Poverty In The USA Whats The Moral Of The Story??

Posted by Mr.Copper @ 12:24 on December 8, 2022

In the early mid 1970s when I was punching a time clock in a factory, I thought to myself if the dumb ass Americans continue to buying Imports, and if out dumb as a stump elected officials keep bringing in immigrants as jobs leave, and the stupid A’hole Gov’t (greedy global business men that run it) and allow the minimum wage to MELT against inflation, there’s going to be a big poverty problem.

In 1975 I went to self employment so I can give MYSELF pay raises and have deductions and flexibility. The factory owners with foreign competition could not afford to pay people and or the medical insurance. Every American that bought a foreign car, bon apatite, contributed to the poverty.

But it doesn’t matter anymore. We hit bottom. I think greedy global business men (bankers too) that run the gov’t and witnessed the ’08 crisis must be noticing “they can’t get away with that anymore” especially after Trump told everybody on prime TV that the people and domestic businesses were getting screwed.

Justice Department tells bankers to proactively confess their misdeeds

Posted by Mr.Copper @ 10:04 on December 8, 2022

I just read this. It’s a good story. It fits my reversal observation and after the 08 crisis to Bernie Madoff and “you can’t get away with it anymore” in the future. I always said the banks operate like a government, so they are somewhat excused for “killing” like a soldier just doing his job.

Part:

But they have a lengthy track record of failures, often due to unscrupulous employees or bad practices.

The industry has paid more than $200 billion in fines since the 2008 financial crisis, mostly tied to its role in the mortgage meltdown, according to a 2018 tally from KBW. Traders and bankers have also been blamed for manipulating benchmark rates, currencies and precious metal markets, stealing billions of dollars from developing nations, and laundering money for drug lords and dictators.

I’m guessing when the Dow and gold parred it had to do with gold being repriced anyways.
Right now we’re still in a bear market rally and probably window dressing for holidays. After which what do we have. A corrupt government doing business as usual. I guess Hershel wasn’t important enough for insiders GOP already getting with the demos business as usual planing while sitting above the dungeon of the Jan 6 era below like some kind of mid evil times. The Romines still playing biblical savior, another fraud while the evil amongst is run free on steroids amd conspire against Trum who saves his worthless arse and now wants to change their children’s sex and sterilize them or poison them. We need a new party and eliminate most of these frauds. What a joke. It’s nothing but business as is usual ransacking and destroying what’s left of this country.

I’m still likely to believe M Pentos warning and not trying to sell you a new speculative mine but the above ground here and now and not some rumor of some plan in some country that hasn’t came through and common sense investing the best we can do in theses crazy times. Back when it wasn’t just a plan or rumor
that didn’t follow through when gold was revalued at a higher price. That won’t happen now until a reversal not just lowering the rates their hiking.

Thanks Goldie

didn’t realize that was back in 2016, if he said 5 years then I suppose he was wrong, or early which is the same as being wrong. I’ve been early for my entire investing life.

Things don’t happen quickly in this world and certainly not in my time. Hopefully we’ll have a good few months ahead of us.

Here’s the audio I just re- listened to.
This is all before Fed tightening. He talks about diamonds and other metals being more valuable.
He makes good points though and one thing about stocks. If the companies margin their gold selling for a fixed price their stocks will go no where. If they leave them alone they should do well. Doesn’t look like they followed that advice.

Lassonde Back in 2016 he said according to his charts gold should match what ever the Dow was in 5 years. That would make it 2021. Although I didn’t pay attention to where it was when the Dow crashed in 2020? I was too busy studying Covid. And because all you’ll get is talk should of been backing up the truck on oil stocks back then. Gold wouldn’t of been too bad either or anything for that matter.
