Shareholders of record on Deb. 15 will be paid the special dividend on Jan. 5, 2023, the company said late Wednesday. With 17.67 million shares outstanding as of Oct. 17, that represents a total payout by the company of about $88.3 million.
The stock RGR, 1.73% climbed 8.4% in morning trading Thursday, putting it on track for the best one-day performance since it hiked up 12.1% on Jan. 6, 2021.
Based on current stock prices, the special dividend by itself would imply a dividend yield of 8.40%, which compares with the implied yield for the S&P 500 index SPX, -0.53% of 1.65%.

Ukraine and the West can’t stop an evolution they started. Everything is in reverse as per my observations after 2008. USSR went bankrupt long ago because of the arms race with the USA. USSR lost all their satellites.
So, a reversal of that trend is Russia starts regaining their satellites. Very simple. Imo they got “played” by Europe and the west. Now, its the opposite, the entire west is somewhat broke, (like USSR was) and now Russia is probably a lot better off financially these days.

How did so many fall for such intricate lies?
Barrick Gold (NYSE: GOLD) (TSX: ABX) will hear next week whether it can proceed with its $7 billion Reko Diq copper-gold project in Pakistan, close to the borders of Iran and Afghanistan.
The country’s Supreme Court, which has been tasked with ensuring the project is in line with Pakistan’s constitution and laws, finished its due diligence on Wednesday. The final verdict, however, won’t be announced until next week.
The Reko Diq project, which hosts one of the world’s largest undeveloped copper-gold deposits, has been on hold since 2011 due to a dispute over the legality of its licensing process.
Barrick solved the long-running dispute earlier this year, reaching a preliminary out-of-court deal that cleared the path for a final agreement on how to run the mine and profit-sharing arrangements.
A favourable court decision is vital to securing parliamentary support for the project, which is the final approval Barrick would need to kick off construction at Reko Diq.

I want to get back into AGI, hoping for $8.75-9 area.
