It’s good for gaps to get filled like that. Maybe there’s fishy business going on, but the miners are digging out of a damn big hole, so selling gap opens seems like normal behavior. Sometimes, markets walk up the stairs backwards.
Take away the Rig and they would be crapping themselves, instead of swanking around, as if everything is A OK !!!!
That said the Fed has no choice tomorrow it has to be easy, or the Donald will go ape…..and Draghi will look like a fool…..it all points to Gold, they are close to being boxed in.

A fourth carcinogen has been found in America’s supply of blood pressure drugs.
The US and Europe have faced severe shortages of heart medications since last summer, when it emerged that millions of people (at least a million Americans, and another million in Europe) were taking pills laced with cancer-causing chemicals.
The chemicals were traced back to quality control failings at factories in China and India, which cheaply and efficiently produce two-thirds of drug ingredients in the world.
Officials and pharmaceutical companies were forced to pull most heart drugs from the US, leaving millions of people to choose between contaminated drugs or nothing.
Earlier this year, as the shortage dragged on, the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) released a list of safe alternatives.
But today, a new FDA filing reveals those, too, appear to have been contaminated with another, previously undetected chemical: dimethylformamide (DMF), a solvent which is used in plastics, pesticides, and synthetic leathers.
I hate to carp..but looking at the board, PM’s are a joke today…yes good to have some gains. but look at all the other crap that is exploding…CAC 40 was up over 2 % …no-one does a stroke of work in France, ever…AAPL up 2.4 %..over priced crap and no new products since Jobs passed….etc etc. Oil did over 4 % at one stage, its still up 3.4 % Copper over 2 % all LME well up…so hard assets are bid and that wasn’t just the Trump tweet…it was also Draghi
Gold shud be up 5 % plus and the shares shud be up 15/20 % % or more, this should be a monster day….and it was going to be until the scum landed all over them.
They have so far tried to cap PMs but they are FAILING… silver is up 21 cents and silver stocks and ETFs are just up modestly…but this will fail too–if not todat, them tomorrow…when the tide goes out…then we’ll see who si wearing a bathing suit
