Political betting is wide open to abuse, as now they just have Algo’s making the odds based off the weight of money. So if u want to make ur person/party favourite, just put lots on money on them, but as the mkt is small it is probably way less than a prime time add, to get people calling your way.
It was so biased in 2016 one of the Bookies actually let it out, that they were getting a few very large bets on Hillary, but loads of small ones for the Donald, but the large bets outweighed the small ones heavily…
Paddy Power an Irish bookmaker paid out on Hillary, before the vote and then had to pay out on the Donald….it cost ’em @ $ 6 million…..they took ages to pay me…apparently it was one of the biggest ever losses !!!!!
