Funds are now net short both gold and silver. The first time I’ve ever seen that happen.

Commercials also net short but not by much.

Be careful big money plays with two fists. If there’s a bounce even some of these stocks who hit their targets have resistance not to far above them they would have to cross or not.

The dollar futures dropped hard, that’s FEAR to hold thru the weekend. The Gold futures spike higher shows CONFIDENCE to hold thru the weekend. Eh?

Instead of looking at the situation as panic buying (dow) and panic selling (gold), it could just be a lack of sellers (dow) and a lack of buyers (gold).

If you want to buy a Dow stock, and not too many sellers you have to raise your bid to get a fill. If you want to sell Gold and nobody’s buying, you drop your ask price to get a fill.

With so many people on vacation in the summer there just might be a whole lot of players not involved. eh?

Looks like some specs bought in today.

Some individual stocks hit support today. What they do tomorrow is a we’ll see. If your following the sector ETFS would be below support. Hui channel dropped out of its channel too.
