Goldilocks 15:50 Picture

Posted by Mr.Copper @ 19:23 on August 7, 2018

I zoomed in on it, it looked like fishing net, and how did a deck chair get thrown in the ocean? The turtle reminded me of nature films I’ve seen. Thousands of new born turtles coming out of the sand, and before they can walk to the water, they get eaten by birds. Keep in mind, most of everything we “know” came from somebody else. Usually exaggerated info from special interests. The info I just relayed, was actual, not a repeat of something said. I saw it on film. Every animal and every human is on borrowed  time from the day they were born. I know many people that like animals more than people, and there “religion” is saving the animals, others are saving the trees, saving the water, the whales the planet etc. I think everything went far enough.

Yeah I didn’t buy the $20K Bitcoin – that’s true

But I am old enough to have lost my ass in the dot.com bust.

I remember 2002 thinking gold and pm shares would make up for everything and be the saving grace.

Who knew 16 years later, it would be the everlasting disaster?

I feel so bad for this grieving Orca

Depleting food source causing decline in Orcas. Finally has a baby and it dies. Grieving mother carries her baby dead for days.

Did you see that picture? A little more than one percent. Then there’s the domino effect of other sea life who just had their food source wiped out. Then more than half the air supply comes from ocean plant life sea life also needs.

Yes of course, oil in the ground is fine but on the beach it’s pollution. I myself don’t believe that 100% of sea life is suffering a genocide due to the ignorance and apathy. My guess would be one percent. If that. Imo 99% of the ocean and atmosphere is fine. Its a big big world. Filled with many natural hazards that kill small percentage people and animals. Storms fires earth quakes, cancer etc.

Including radiation but that doesn’t mean you dump it in your back yard, you water supply or the ocean. Plastic is mostly made from petro chemicals as far as I know. The sea life is suffering a genocide due to the ignorance and apathy ” not my problem” of humans. Without ecosystem ” the ability for organic matter as you call it to cleans the air and waters” it will be our problem and we can wind up on that extinction list. When God gave us domain over the animals and land with it he gave us responsibility for them.

Thanks for the comeback yesterday. You’re right, “They only love America when it has something in it for them.”

Re garbage in the Oceans? Do NOT forget about cargo ships and cruise ships. I’ll bet money they dump loads of garbage off the backs of the ships in the middle of the night.

We can’t worry about everything. We’re on a planet floating thru space. Everything we have, and everything dumped came from the ground anyway. No matter what it is. Think about it.

Purdy good one !

(sorry, couldn’t resist)

Obama, Hillary, and Trump are standing at the throne of heaven.

God looks at each of them and says, “Before granting you a place at my side, I must ask you what you believe in.”

God asks Obama first: “What do you believe, Obama?”

Obama looks God in the eye, and says, “I believe in hard work, and in staying true to family and friends. I believe in giving. I have always tried to do right by my countrymen.”

God sees the essential goodness in Obama, and offers him a seat to his left.

Then God turns to Hillary and says, “Hillary. What do you believe?”

Hillary says, “I believe that passion, discipline, courage, and honour are the fundamentals of life. Like Obama, I believe in hard work and have always tried to be a true patriot and a loyal American.”

God is greatly moved by Hillary’s eloquence, and he offers her a seat to his right.

Finally, God turns to Trump and says, “And you, Donald, what do you believe?”

Trump replies, “I believe you’re in my seat.”

People better rethink pollution

It’s not just plastic it’s everything humans dump near water.
I don’t know what’s going on with these straws but they’re still everywhere. Went to a restaurant with a relative yesterday and they gave out straws. There still in fast food and stores that serve sodas.
What needs to be done is make stricter laws of littering in beaches or near any water way. You get inner city usually low income area going to water areas leaving trash everywhere that ends up in the water.
Even little thinks like bottle cap tops, kids hair bands, you name it have been found in birds stomachs who died eating that stuff. It’s just not plastic.
Being involved with Peta and other animal rights groups I’ve seen some horrific pictures. Sea life swimming in literal garbage. BUT the majority of these pictures are coming from foreign countries.
No mention on what’s going on in Florida right now. Millions of sea life washing up on shores and bays dead from bacteria in the water some claim are from polluted run off. Whatever it’s not being aggressively treated.

Hurry up and get long commercial dudes

Which in turn opens up a whole new can of worms: instead of lack of liquidity at the single name bond level, the next bond crash would likely see the ETF sector go bid- or offerless, a “phantom liquidity” danger which Howard Marks has been predicting since 2015.
*****************************************
Meanwhile, the underlying bond market continues to shrink: according to JPM, only 32% and 41% of U.S. high-grade and high-yield daily trading volumes takes place in the cash bond market.
But what is more concerning is that while at least some bond traders are keeping an eye on the exit, the vast majority of the market has been lulled into complacency, with the CFTC reporting that the net short exposure for VIX has risen to the highest level since the February VIX debacle.

Comment=What “Market Drop?”  Fucking market hasn’t dropped in 10 years now. It’s All Bullshit!!!

No-deal Brexit? What it might mean for Britain

Posted by ipso facto @ 10:02 on August 7, 2018

LONDON/GENEVA (Reuters) – The prospect of a “no-deal Brexit” appears to have grown after the European Union’s negotiator rejected last month central elements of Prime Minister Theresa May’s proposals for a new trade agreement.

Bank of England Governor Mark Carney said on Friday the possibility of Britain leaving the EU without striking any deal with Brussels was “uncomfortably high”. Trade minister Liam Fox has put the chances at 60-40.

May’s office repeated on Monday she believed Britain would negotiate a good agreement but that “no deal is better than a bad deal
