Well , I have another formation , taken from reliability studies . The failure rate of a new product can be high due to manufacturing issues , poor materials , etc. Then after that initial period , the item can work for years without problems until it wears out and failures become prevalent . That curve is similar in shape to the outline of a bathtub cut in two vertically – and looks like an exaggerated , wide U , so is called the bathtub curve .
Imagine if we are setting up for a bathtub curve in the PM’s .
I am not plugging leveraged ETF’s , but imagine if this turns into a bathtub curve :
and remember , some of the large investment bankers are accumulating physical silver ! Aggresively ! Cheaply !

Gold is pretty oversold but still continues down, silver doesn’t go up for more than a day before getting hit for 1% minimum the next day.
I guess I’m a little surprised that the shares aren’t getting hit harder, but they still stink.

Indonesia’s Inalum close to acquiring Freeport’s Grasberg copper mine
Indonesia’s state-owned mining holding company PT Inalum is close to finalising a multi-billion-dollar deal to acquire a majority stake in the giant Grasberg copper mine, government officials said on Saturday.
Situated in Indonesia’s eastern-most province of Papua, Grasberg, the world’s second-largest copper mine, is owned and operated by Freeport Indonesia (PTFI), a subsidiary of U.S.-based Freeport McMoRan Copper & Gold Inc..
Global miner Rio Tinto has a joint venture with Freeport for a 40 per cent share of Grasberg’s production above specific levels until 2021, and 40 per cent of all production after 2021.
Inalum’s planned purchase of Rio’s interest will form part of an agreement for Indonesia to take a 51 percent stake in Grasberg, giving it control of the mine, which needs significant investment to move into its next phase underground.
Freeport, which would sell Inalum a further 9.36 percent stake, would see its current 90.64 percent holding in Grasberg diluted down to 49 percent, although it would remain the mine’s operator.
“Now we are preparing contracts. You could say it’s already completed – all that’s left is the finalisation of documents that need to be signed,” Deputy State-Owned Enterprises Minister Fajar Harry Sampurno told reporters at a government event.

LOL I sure hope that Obrador keeps his mitts and taxes away from the miners. There are so many projects in Mexico that most people here probably own companies that operate there. Could be a bloodbath if he leans towards South Africa or old Zimbabwe style policies.

I think that’s great advice. If you don’t have too many resources then “junk silver” first. The most useful in a true crack-up, and can you imagine the gov trying to recall-seize it! Just not likely to happen. It may not be pretty but it may be the most useful.
“interior garden” Lots of people have their vegi gardens right next to the road. I wonder in a crunch how many vegis are going to be harvested by the people who planted them and labored over them?
IPSO – that has been my mantra for years
…but both gold and silver . IF we do have a national collapse , I believe having pre-’64 quarters and dimes to trade to farmers for food will be a good thing to have – almost as good as an ‘invisible’ garden . The old Roman villas had an interior courtyard open to the sky . That would be an ideal type of architecture , I think.
Think of the possibilities … a dozen eggs or a quart of milk for a silver dime , etc.
