Good luck with your silver position. This area seems like a decent chance for a bottom and turn higher. Maybe you will say Nya Nya to Captain H. 🙂

We are having a coolish summer and I don’t have any red tomatoes yet!

Thanks for the analysis. Pretty close to what I thought was going on. I hope they boot May’s ass out and get someone who will do the will of the people!

Cheers

Hi there

Treason May has become a nightmare, she gave away the farm to start with, the EU said tough, not enough, so she gave away more, EU same again, so now she is trying to give away even more…which has at long last provoked some serious resignations and very possibly a leadership challenge.

In short the elite/establishment are doing there best to stop a real Brexit and trying to get a Brexit in name only, and now the fight to the finish has started.

Cheers

Looks a little toppy It has a reverse point wave down and a double top. My $16.20 silver still doesn’t look too bad.

R640 – COT Report

Posted by Buygold @ 17:53 on July 9, 2018

Thanks for the update, I may have posted the wrong one on Friday.

So tough to read any of the smoke signals with any confidence.

Today was just pathetic.

Hoping Mr. Copper is right about a weakening USD, but I don’t know if that will even help.

FYI–just released

The Commitment of Traders Report

Silver

*The large specs reduced their long positions by 887 contracts and increased their shorts by 8,652 contracts.

*The commercials reduced their longs by 520 contracts and decreased their shorts by 10,996 contacts.

*The small specs decreased their longs by 438 contracts and increased their shorts by 499 contracts.

GOLD

*The large specs increased their long positions by 15,365 contracts and increased their shorts by 13,710 contracts.

*The commercials increased their longs by 1,316 contracts and reduced their shorts by 497 contracts.

*The small specs increased their longs by 679 contracts and increased their shorts by 4,147 contracts.

Noticeable that the small specs got so much more short in both precious metals.

The Bankers, global money managers, have to manually adjust the dollar down hard soon and punish the dollar bull futures players. How much longer can they allow it to stay so high?

They pushed the dollar up abruptly the last half of 2014, and must have killed a lot of dollar bears. It was in the 80 area, and its been above 95 all thru ‘15 ‘16 ‘17 and ‘18.

The dopey/dollar is way to high to help US exporters. I think all the booming US economy news is a big bunch of hot steaming err hype. I learned a long time ago, to not believe anything they say or imply.

The only thing I can think of they may be afraid to lower it, the dollar because the jerks already have climbing gasoline and diesel WITH a strong dollar.

I smell a catch 22 situation.

I haven’t been following it real closely but is May in trouble because she’s giving away too much in the negotiations? Is she setting up just a pseudo-split? What in H is going on?

Huge power struggle braking out in UK politics, in the government, between Brexiteers and Remainers

Posted by Maddog @ 16:19 on July 9, 2018

Treason May could well only have hours/days at most..if she falls and a Brexiteer is made PM…..then expect Sterling to take off….maybe not immediately, but soon after.

I was a fan of Jacques Cousteau but too young at the time to be in his club or even know or remember he had one. He was a brilliant man and would watch him when ever I could. Unfortunately couldn’t remember much of what I learnt after a high fever once that almost killed me but memory still remembered he was brilliant not just a actor and was truly concerned with the environment and life at sea and beyond. He knew man was ruining it. I wounder what he’d say about Fukushima and other dumping or over fishing today.
If he though that man was turning the ocean into a sewer then it would be worse now.
Another point with the global warming hunt for money BS. Still the oceans and its inhabitants have suffered one assault after another. Not to mention global deforestation and the effects on weather and soil. They can’t think beyond the box like him, that were all in the same boat.
We need more Jacques Cousteau’s today,a army of them but they’re like a rose in the midst of a jungle. The linear money jungle.
Thanks for sharing.

Haiti ,,As far as Clinton

Posted by Ororeef @ 12:53 on July 9, 2018

goes in Haiti ,,he’s a clever fellow (as distinct from smart),he knows the money raised for help to Haiti was going to go down a rat hole ,so why not put it to a better use and why let a crisis go to waste ?   Clinton has a penchant of doing things because he could ,not because he should and thats his vice.  Wrong guy to put in charge of a bad idea ..

The FOX was hired to watch the Hen House  ,why a surprise at the result ?

I know someone retired who was high up at the IRS you brought to mind. Since Hilary never delivered on all that money she accumulated for Haiti wouldn’t she be liable for taxes not to mention fraud?
I’m going to ask him. I’m glad you didn’t consider my suggestion to send a few politicians to Haiti as a death threat. ?

Another day in paradise

Open higher and drift lower all day long while the SM screams higher on trade fears.

Pure comedy.

Jacques Cousteau

Posted by Ororeef @ 12:41 on July 9, 2018

was asked to go to Haiti some years ago to see what he could recommend since he was French and haitians speak French and his expertise was the SEA and how it provides when not abused. His conclusions were “give me 50 years to grow back the trees that the Haitians cut down and I can help you. They cut all the trees bordering the shorelines for firewood to make charcoal for cooking without replanting any.As a consequence the top soil along the coast washed out to sea and the muddy waters drove the fish away ,then the small boats they fished from coldent go that far out and they had no food .They started out with no fuel to cook their food and ended up with no food.Stupid is is as Stupid does..Cousteau threw up his hands in disgust and left. I was Scuba diving at the time and kept up with what Cousteau was doing as a member of the Cousteau Society ……He was a scientist dealing with the worlds stupidist people and stupid is forever .They still believe in voodo as a religion and will resort to cannibalism eventually  and therein lies the solution to get population back in line to what the island will support .Stay away ! its hopeless……average IQ is 60 …

Contrast this with Japan another Island that preserves its top soil ,jealously and an average IQ among the worlds highest.   ….Stupid is Forever….
