I wonder if this surfer as the first thing that came to mind was surf boards and sure enough lol there’s a guy on your island who makes surfboards out of them.
Don’t know if he buys the wood or just picks it up but if he does you can get rid of it for free maybe. I also saw some university student who said they could use it in house building but don’t know how strong the wood is and didn’t read it.
