GoodMorning Oasis, Is There A Dr. In The House? :)

Posted by Farmboy @ 9:28 on July 27, 2017

Got busted yesterday with my JDST/DSVL. Still licking my wounds from that one. Ouch!

Teach me to trust those banksters ! Ha ! When is the last time gold and silver went up at OE in the month of July? Or the PM went up after a Yellen yap? Yep, got caught flat footed and gave up the last two weeks of gains. Grrrrr!. And broke a few of my own rules, like cutting a losing trade short. Maya must have slipped a little ‘Hopium’ in the coffee yesterday. I just KNEW that bounce after the Fed minutes wouldn’t last more than a few minutes.

Oh well, somedays you take out the badguys, somedays they are putting you in the box.

The good news is the core PM holdings got a much needed lift.

The bad news aint that I lost some money yesterday. I been a Goldbug too long to not be used to that. What irks me the most, gets my gut, is having to make those earnings over two and three times sometimes.

OK, done with my whining. Its back in the saddle and another new day. Beaten and bruised, my pride of being ‘wrong’ probably should be sent to the ER. Coffee in hand, lets Do This !

Best to all. 🙂

Sovereignty? What’s that? Gonna be some blowback on this issue!

EU To Force Poland, Hungary And Czech Republic To Accept Refugees

One month after the EU’s executive Commission launched legal cases against Poland, Hungary and the Czech Republic for “defaulting on their legal obligations” by refusing to comply with the EU’s refugee quotas (i.e., accept migrants), on Wednesday the three Central European nations suffered another blow after Brussels mounted a legal fightback to force them to comply with EU refugee quotas. The top European Union court’s adviser dismissed a challenge brought by Slovakia and Hungary against the obligatory relocation of refugees across the bloc, as it prepared to sign-off legal suits against the holdout countries.

The two states, backed by Poland, wanted the court to annul a 2015 EU scheme to have each member state host a number of refugees to help ease pressure on Greece and Italy, struggling with mass arrivals across the Mediterranean. Supported by Germany, Italy and Brussels, the EU’s “relocation” law has become one of the bloc’s most divisive recent policy initiatives, forced through over the objections of states from eastern and central Europe.

The euroskeptic governments in Warsaw and Budapest have refused to take in a single asylum-seeker under the plan (which may explain the lack of terrorist events on their home soil). Slovakia and the Czech Republic have also stalled, citing security concerns after a raft of Islamist attacks in the EU in recent years. Quoted by the FT, the EU’s migration commissioner Dimitris Avramopoulos said he regretted the decision of the three member states “not to show solidarity and to ignore our repeated calls to participate in this common effort” adding that none of the responses from Budapest, Warsaw or Prague to the commission “justified that they do not implement the relocation decision”.

Yes to electrolytes!  Gatorade is my soft drink of choice when not water.  Living and working up a sweat in the tropics teaches that lesson.   I don’t ever want to have another kidney stone!  Last one was stuck there for 5 weeks before it passed!  But no history of heart disease in my family, so I’m not worried about the NSAIDs.  Naproxen seems to be much safer than aspirin from what I have studied.   Remember Celebrex and the related LOX-5 ‘new tech’ nsaids?  I got an irregular heartbeat while taking them under a doc’s care after a car accident.   Stopped that stuff immediately… then came the revelations and lawsuits before they were taken off the market.

Abandon Hope, all ye who enter here…

Enjoy the minor pop in the metals, but remember… they are STILL under total control.  The beatings WILL continue…   but hope springs infernal for the insane.

With each new story of Bitcoin ‘financial engineering’ coming down the pipe, I’m more determined to get the majority of my value out of the crypto… as soon as I sync up with the network again.  I’m looking for a new high above $3k to do that.

RIP Crypto’s…PM’s will catch a huge bid.

Bankers Ditch 7-Figure Salaries To Climb Aboard The ICO “Rocketship”

In just a few short months, companies – many of dubious legitimacy – have raised more than a billion dollars through ICOs. Some of the better-hyped offerings in the field of 900 new coins that have been created this year managed to raise tens of millions of dollars in minutes. Investors, who were eager to throw money at the new coins, blindly hoping they would land on the next bitcoin or Ethereum.

With all this money flying around, it’s no small wonder that bankers in New York, Hong Kong and London are abandoning seven-figure salaries to try their luck in the nascent ICO industry, according to Bloomberg. Stories like this have become commonplace with every passing fintech trend, as bankers, fearing the technology’s potential to disrupt the banking business and threaten their bonus pool, hoping to cash in on the next technology enabled “revolution.”
