Loading ...Just got the gas bill for may 5 to june 33 days which is higher despite low GAS prices and surplus gas everywhere ?
for cubic used $18.12
Gas base Fee $12.54
Purchase Gas cost $15.30 for a totol bill of $45.96 and that only for GAS hot water heat only !
Why are they purchasing additional gas outside of a fixed contract base amount ..Why dont they buy Futures coverage to hedge ?
They certainly know how many days at what temperature to expect to buy gas for …?
I use $18.12 worth of gas ,but the bill is $45.96 ..who am I subsidizing and why ?
How does your gas rate get calculated ..I used to get a summer bill for $16.00 totol !
