Well the need to send some of that ice to the west. Heard we broke the heat record made in 1945 by one point. So fact is we’ve had these heat waves before. Just like we’ve had doughts before. Hope people taking care of their pets and take them inside and if not inside lots of shade more than one pan of water at a time and maybe a mister. That pavement can cook eggs. In Calif now it’s legal to break a window to get a pet out of a hot car from the brainless go shopping leaving them inside the car. Mothers asking what can then temp be on kids. The heat, keep them out. Wonder how many will wind up in WR. More learning what heat exhaustion is now before gets to heat stroke.

Too funny!!

Oh, the irony. Climate change strikes again. Global Warming is a huge threat… but the ice is too thick?

What happened to all those stranded, starving polar bears who had no ice floes? Now there’s “unprecedented ice”. Whew! That was a close one.

The truth will out—one way or another and no, we’re not taking their global warming hoax seriously. At all. It’s junk science.

Nature is cyclical, always returning to balance.

The oligarchs will have to extort money to prevent some other bogus catastrophe.  ~ BP

Canadian Icebreaker CCGS Amundsen

Canadian Arctic Climate Change Expedition Canceled Because Ice is Too Thick

The Daily Sheeple

A large Canadian climate change expedition in the Arctic has been canceled because the ice is too thick. But the best part is that climate researchers are blaming global warming or climate change for ice that is so thick, it’s “unprecedented.”

Not enough ice? Global warming. Too much ice? Climate change. And these climate scientists wonder why skeptics don’t take them seriously. The Canadian climate change expedition was canceled because of “climate change” according to Science Daily.

The Science Team of the Canadian Research Icebreaker CCGS Amundsen has cancelled the first leg of the 2017 Expedition due to complications associated with the southward motion of hazardous Arctic sea ice, caused by climate change.

It’s interesting that the scientists immediately blame climate change for “unprecedented” thick summer ice. According to Vice:

The study, entitled BaySys, is a $17-million four-year-long program headed by the University of Manitoba. It was planning to conduct the third leg of its research by sending 40 scientists from five Canadian universities out into the Bay on the Canadian Research Icebreaker CCGS Amundsen to study “contributions of climate change and regulation on the Hudson Bay system.”

The $17 million expedition then had to be canceled because the researchers’ icebreaker was required by the Canadian Coast Guard for something far more important. The ice breaker needed to rescue fishing boats and supply ships which had gotten stuck in the “unprecedented ice conditions.”

“It became clear to me very quickly that these weren’t just heavy ice conditions, these were unprecedented ice conditions,” Dr. David Barber, the lead scientist on the study, told VICE. “We were finding thick multi-year sea ice floes which on level ice were five metres thick… it was much, much thicker and much, much heavier than anything you would expect at that latitude and at that time of year.”

Of course, like any good researcher, instead of admitting that climate change might be the hoax that it is, he doubled down on the thickening ice as “man-made.” Barber took to fear mongering blaming the climate change expedition’s cancellation on climate change.  “It was clear it was from the Arctic, I just needed to be among the ice to see it,” said Dr. Barber. “What was also clear to me was that climate change has caused this event to happen.”

It’s time to pity those who can’t see past this fabricated propaganda. This is far from the only time global warming alarmists have been made to look foolish over their insistence on pushing this fabrication.

There was the Ship of Fools expedition in which an Australian climate researcher called Chris Turkey had to call an expedition to the melting Antarctic after his ship got stuck in the ice.

The Caitlin Expedition – supported by the Prince of Wales – in which Pen Haddow and his team had to abandon their trip to the North Pole because it was colder than they’d expected.

Most recently there was Ship of Fools II, in which a global warming research voyage by David Hempleman Adams had to be curtailed because of unexpected ice.

Global warming alarmists and climate change scientists are nothing more than money hungry quacks blaming everything from the wind to a tree dying in California on their invented science. This isn’t to say we shouldn’t take care of the earth. Leaving a clean planet with fresh air and water for future generations should be a goal. Yet the weather fluctuations being pushed off on people as some sort of excuse to tax and regulate them is getting asinine.

Saudis Foil Iranian Terror Attack On Major Offshore Oil Field

The situation in the Middle East is furiously escalating with each passing day.

While today’s news of Israeli financial support for Syrian insurgents came out of left field, our earlier assessment following the report of “turmoiling” Syrian rebels in the aftermath of the Qatar crisis still stands, namely that “the next major regional conflict appears set to be between Saudi Arabia and Iran. All it needs is a catalyst.”

That catalyst nearly presented itself overnight, when the Saudi information ministry said the Saudi Royal Navy allegedly foiled an attempted terrorist attack on a major offshore oilfield in the Persian Gulf on June 16, when it captured three members of Iran’s Revolutionary Guard Corps from a boat as it approached the kingdom’s offshore Marjan oilfield. The Saudi Center for International Communications added that the boat carried explosives, and the Iranians aboard “intended to carry out terrorist act in Saudi territorial waters.”

@Treefrog re something’s goosing the dollar.

Posted by Mr.Copper @ 16:53 on June 19, 2017

I remember during Clinton, Greenspan, Robert Rubin, Larry Summers, and Roger Altman administration, 1992 to 2000, they raised the dollar so high from 80 to 120, that Silver was like $4.75, Gold I think under $300, Oil under $18 in, heating oil I think was .46 cents.

After little George Bush got in, “they” were forced to add tariffs on imported steel and lumber, to avoid more bankruptcies. Then after 2001 they started dropping the dollar from 120 to  80 to inverse prices higher so businesses could survive without the tariffs that were then dropped. Later on they had the dollar down to 72, in 2008.

Then came the big crash in ’08 and back up went the dollar, probably to help Europe Japan et al. As long as the US public is fooled enough, and thinks the US economy is doing ok, the foreigners will help themselves to “another strong dollar serving” of US consumer dollars. Or rather spoon feed us more of their exports.

that’s a serious positive. Something to be thankful for. Glad gold hasn’t been flushed with silver, and just creamed. I suppose anything is possible. Commodities in general look horrible, all while tech stocks are killing it. Tech stocks are so powerful, they are affecting commodities. There’s a tangential relationship here. It’s study material

Ipsofacto Re China’s problems

Posted by Mr.Copper @ 12:22 on June 19, 2017

You’re exactly right. They have financial problems. But ask yourself why? I don’t know if you remember any of my posts from way way back, but I do.  And after the US consumer threw up his guts after during the 2008 melt down?

I told everybody, even local friends and relatives, that China has finally peaked, China is or was in 2008, exactly where the USA was in 1980, finished, and it’s OVER for them simply because the US consumer was finished. Even retail middle men, finished or contracting. No more ways or methods to get borrowed money into consumers pockets.

Note all the frantic gov’t financial news…..”Geez we have no unemployment, and wages are not going up” “What’s wrong”  If they don’t admit what’s wrong, or KNOW whats or acknowledge whats wrong, they can’t solve the problem. Millions still on food stamps.

yeah, he’s been obstructed at every turn by the D.C. establishment, Repubs and Dems. Unfortunately, he invited some swamp creatures into his cabinet as well and hasn’t cleaned house in areas of his control like the DOJ. Every Obama appointee should have been relieved of duty on day one.

I really don’t get it. maybe Mr.Copper is right and he was just a well chosen plant to feed discord throughout the country so people wouldn’t notice what the swamp was doing behind the scenes.

I’m honestly not convinced he’ll make it another year without being impeached or forced to resign.

Funny how the stock market is immune to any negative news, really no matter what it is.

“Any and all countries with financial problems, very likely have all their consumer products made in foreign lands.”

China has massive economic problems, so being a manufacturing power does not necessarily protect a country from other bad economic decisions.

ipso facto @ 11:16 Trump Just Another Well Chosen Front Man

Posted by Mr.Copper @ 11:31 on June 19, 2017

I love Trump, but I knew right away when he said “China did this or China did that” that something was terribly wrong. “China” did not do anything. They also were “chosen” for development of their consumers, and were used as a vendor sanctuary.

Any and all countries with financial problems, very likely have all their consumer products made in foreign lands. The consumers are imo SUCKERS to big business plans and agendas every time they buy something foreign made.

Re Down Gold and Green Miners

Posted by Mr.Copper @ 11:25 on June 19, 2017

I’m wondering if the people riding the Dow and SnP tickers, are flush with big profits, and starting to nibble into wants a lot cheaper, and great potential. “What the hell do they have to lose?” 🙂 They’d be investing the house’s money.

On top of that, the futures players and bullion buyers watching PM shares going green might start going long or adding to those positions. I think we’re still digesting all the Trump hoopla, or all the cheer leading for the US economy.

I also think the UN, and or the Fed Res and all anti non- USA countries are keeping their currencies lower for self protection, inverting our Dopey Dollar higher, thinking we are the fat pigs on the planet and to hell with the USA.

They simply want all USA consumers to keep on buying their products, while they have a “loaf under each arm”. If the Americans had a leader that promoted a boycott of imported products, we would prosper here after the rotation.

Thank about the prosperity of the ’50s and ’60s, and why is was that way. New cars every 3 years, some paid cash, no 6 year loans or leases. Two week vacations every year. The “see the USA in your Chevrolet”

No medical insurance needed. Dr. came to the house. For $5. One income households.  Next time you are stopped at a traffic light, look around yourself. You will think you live in a foreign land. All those people around you only care about themselves. Totally unpatriotic. Why do you the think the President, and all the others in the convoys are driving Suburbans’, Escalades’ and Tahoes’ etc.

Those CMC and Chevys are like a big proud American flag. The President and his crew would look like a bunch of idiots representing the USA, using Honda Pilots, Lexus or BMW SUVs or Nisson Pathfinders etc.

“Yeah, the only thing Trump has proven is how little power the President actually has when up against the Deep State.”

You can say that again! He’s obstructed from doing just about anything, and the Republicans are as often as not the obstructers. This is a rocky road we are headed down.

Yeah, the only thing Trump has proven is how little power the President actually has when up against the Deep State.

I naively believed he’d be able to come through on some of his promises and the big one being getting out of the useless wars and focusing here instead.

Neocon controlled deep state holds all the cards, if they want war they’ll create it. Sad.

Gold and silver look like crap, if the shares manage to finish flat, it’s a minor victory.
