Loading ...the whole deal was illegal to begin with. the constitution mandates that treaties require the consent of the senate. obozo evaded the law by calling this an “agreement” instead of a “treaty.” if an international agreement isn’t a treaty, then what is it? obozo had the right to agree as an individual, but no authority to agree on the nation’s behalf.
