Trying to take the stairs up this am. Is it possible to be up 5 days in a row? NAK is on fire again – still not one I won though…

Retail sales, Inflation data coming up in 20 minutes, should give the USD some direction.

…and I’m still ‘Grumpy’.  I think I figured out my problem.  Contact dermatitis… hives, itching two weeks ago from pulling noxious weeds.  The Doc gave me a super strong cortico-steroid ointment to put on it.  Ten days, and now I just got off it before the full moon.  Steroids do a number on you.  It’s fading… but I’ve been off kilter for a few days.   At least I didn’t kill anybody… yet.    🙁

commish, I like it. However, Vinnie was the only one “fired” on. Comey should retire to Tahiti with Obama before he opens his yap.

On second thoughts, Tahiti is a direct muzzle blast to the Clinton’s…perhaps Sochi?

commish @ 20:51 Ya Know Commish, It Should Have All Ended For The Clintons When Bill Said,

Posted by Farmboy @ 21:08 on May 11, 2017

” I did not have sex with that woman!” And then a stained blue dress shows up. For me, it wasn’t about the ‘sex’, it was standing up and bold face lying to the American people. The Clintons, including Hillary, have been caught time after time in LIES. What is it going to take to show Americans that they have been had ?

Perhaps the new director of the FBI, will have the guts to open up the Clintonista Investigation, and provide the Truth. Whether America is ready to accept the truth, is a whole different matter.

Believing the Media Spin, or facing the Truth, history will probably show,  our country’s destiny probably hinged on a blue dress. The rest of the world must think we are really Stupid.

Bitcoin is Going Mainstream, but Its Current Run-Up Has a Speculative Feel

Comment: My take is the article pretty much attempts to trash Bitcoin, but as they say, the proof is in the pudding. Maya is probably buying up half of Hawaii with his profits. 🙂

Fund Manager Asks, Is Gold Signaling the Next Financial Crisis?

Posted by Farmboy @ 20:27 on May 11, 2017

A similar manipulated take-down of the price of gold and silver occurred in the spring of 2008, ahead of the great financial crisis. Gold was pushed down to $750 from $1050 and silver was taken down from $20 to $8. This price decline was counter-intuitive to the collapsing financial condition of the U.S. financial system, which had become obvious to anyone not blinded by the official propaganda at the time. Of course, after the financial collapse occurred and was addressed with money printing, the price of gold ran up to an all-time high.
It’s likely that a similar situation is taking place right now…

Comment: No, you don’t think the recent beat down is because….? Personally, I think,  those in the ‘know’ see something coming. Stack em and rack em.

Hey samb

Appreciate your view, I think several weeks ago you had a downside slant and it ended up coming to fruition. Hard to believe this latest down cycle has only been three weeks.

Fer Pete’s sakes why does only three weeks feel like an eternity with pm’s? 🙂 Maybe because of the magnitude of the declines.

HUI 180-185 had better hold. In terms of gold, this could be a low, which also could be a higher low, but what the hell do I know? 🙂

Concur with Farmboy, hope all is well on the medical side for you!

Sri to hear about yr major medical bill, hope it all works out.

Brave call if yr short this lot, all I do is lighten up, or go flat, as getting back long is never easy and Russells rule that the PM Bull will take the least number with him, struck me as very true.

But yr calls have been very good. Tks.

Heard something today on the radio when driving on a financial show about mutual funds. They always close buys and  sells at end of day. So if you want to sell you have to wait till the end of the day before it goes through. What was interesting he said that he owned some he bought in 07 but in 2009 even though he lost value in them,  those who sold in 08 he was hit with capital gains from those who sold at a profit during the crash because they bought them much earlier say 2003. Not sure what he was saying but didn’t make much sense to me because it sounds like he’s saying you get capital gains from what others by and sell. Maybe that’s where the term mutual funds comes in lol

Good luck with the medical issues. Hope everything works out ok.

In my own life’s experiences, it has always been the ‘crucible’ that forged something good. I hope the following two items lend to your coming ‘through’ the tough times.

Copy that. I agree with some parts. I don’t agree with the TV mantra that massive tax cuts are needed to create jobs. We need a much lower FOREX dollar value. The real problem is tax payers (and many businesses) are under paid (or less profit) because of foreign competition with USA using foreign labor instead of domestic labor.

Thanks to the global elite philanthropists that love to raise living standards in poor countries at our expense. Buffett and Gates admitted on TV, “they can’t do it alone”, without foreign aid etc etc. They succeeded. USA people need to avoid imported products. Nothing is too high or too low, unless its compared to something else.

The part about the Fed ability to create money? They are global. They use the USA as a HOPPER, or manifold, to get money OVERSEAS. Think about that. The money they create and of give to the US economy, ultimately goes overseas, one way or the other.

The part about foreclosures and banks taking property that was in the 1970s stealing farms etc. This time the borrowers stopped paying, some 5-7 years, and banks (welfare offices) don’t get the money back, they pay property taxes, and actually don’t want ownership in my area. They delay as long as possible.

The Trump thing is hard to explain. So far it sounds like they are using words, and are still trying to maintain the status quo. Deficit spending.

Good Grief ! Enough Headlines Here To Underpin PM’s For a Month

Thank you for the kind words and reception. I have been lurking but, reading everything out there for some time now. Just have felt like listening rather then talking.   Time will tell but, man have I ever placed my bets in here! Financial curve ball in major medical bills forced the issue.
