Don’t remember hearing that news.

That’s good to be flat.

I expect everything to be flat or down by the close today anyway.

One thing the pm’s always do is give you a chance to buy lower.

Northern Dynasty: Pebble Partnership achieves settlement with US Environmental Protection Agency

VANCOUVER, May 12, 2017 /CNW/ – Northern Dynasty Minerals Ltd. (TSX: NDM; NYSE MKT: NAK) (“Northern Dynasty” or the “Company”) announces that its wholly-owned subsidiary, Alaska-based Pebble Limited Partnership (“Pebble Partnership” or “PLP”), and the US Environmental Protection Agency (“EPA”) have reached a settlement agreement with respect to the parties’ longstanding legal dispute over the federal agency’s pre-emptive regulatory action under Section 404(c) of the Clean Water Act.

Under the terms of the settlement agreement, EPA has agreed the Pebble Project can proceed into normal course permitting under the Clean Water Act and National Environmental Policy Act. In particular, EPA has agreed it will not file a Recommended Determination under CWA 404(c) until a final Environmental Impact Statement (“EIS”) for the Pebble Project has been completed by the US Army Corps of Engineers (the “Corps”) – so long as that occurs within a period of four years following the settlement agreement and PLP files permit applications within 30 months of the date of the settlement agreement. EPA has further agreed to initiate a process to propose to withdraw the Proposed Determination it issued under CWA 404(c) in July 2014. In return, the Pebble Partnership has agreed to terminate permanently and with prejudice two lawsuits it brought against EPA: an action under the Federal Advisory Committee Act and an action under the Freedom of Information Act.

IMF Proposed a Capital Levy – Tax on Money in Bank Accounts & Raise Property Taxes

The International Monetary Fund (IMF) is always the cheerleader to raise taxes to support government. They are instructing Germany to raise taxes and also talking about just imposing a 10% tax on all money that deposits in banks throughout Europe. Yes – you read that one correctly.

The IMF has told Germany it should raise its property tax, cut social welfare contributions and invest more to reduce income inequality. The demands are contentious in an election year. Once again the IMF has demanded higher taxes on savings deposits in Germany. Germany must do more for to raise taxes to impose more socialistic idea to somehow tax the rich to create a broader participation of all citizens in the fruits of economic growth, if somehow raising taxes actually ever creates economic growth. The IMF warns that there is a relatively high tax burden on lower incomes with a comparatively low burden on assets.

IMO it’s very simple. The President has every right to fire the FBI director if he doesn’t have confidence in him. There should be no hub bub at all.

all ya had to do was go for a swim in the OCEAN  ..the Salt water cures just about every skin condition ..even poison IVY ..and it dont cost anything.. !

It worked for me years ago I was pulling weeds while building a beach house and got some poison Ivy  .  (1950 )Also kerosine works ..just some old time remedies …

I found it was a good excuse to go to the beach to get rid of the poison Ivy ..hehe   clever devil I was

Buygold–I’m glad to see it cause I am flat–besides the gold futures-as I said–have to catch up–and they have

Trumps

Posted by Ororeef @ 9:54 on May 12, 2017

got TAPES of private conversations with COMEY…Comey better keep his mouth shut  …hehe   .Apparently trump has done business with snakes before .

Comey thought he was going to have some shit on Trump instead trump turned it on him  ! Comey thought he was J Edgar Hoover who had dirt on everybody ..

Turnabout is fair play ! Everybody in Government plays that Game of intimidation and POWER grabs ..the public is mostly unaware what the politicians are really like.  I had a County health inspector try to intimidate me one time until I recorded him threatening me .. waving his finger at me ..in my face if I didnt give him free donuts he would rig my Health report  ..stupid fool ..He had a daughter in College he told me ….I got the Federal FOOD manufacturing inspector that found HIM in violation for trying to get me to put wood paneling on the walls of a kitchen in violation of federal regs..He just happened to have a friend that did that kind of work. He was getting a kickback everytime he found (created work) for his friend I nailed his ass good ..I told his boss I was going to the Newspaper if he didnt fire him .They transferred him out of my district instead of firing him  …..  I never saw him again. He and the Federal inspector got into an argument about whose jurisdiction it was. The county guy said retail area was his jurisdiction, the Federal Guy said the Kitchen was a manufacturing area and therefore his jurisdiction .

I threw both of them out because I had tapes of the conversation with the county guy. Neither one ever came back….I repeat… the Public has NO idea of the menace of public employees on business.

I dunno R640

Here comes a steady wave of selling across the board.

The jury is still out…..

The “switch” has been thrown on-as there was no really good reason for G&S to go down 15

Posted by Richard640 @ 9:49 on May 12, 2017

JNUG=19.03+1.38 (+7.80%)

days in a row–there was no real compelling reason for gold to go up this 4th day in a row–for now, there is NO downside in gold–if long, enjoy the ride, adjust your stops and enjoy the ride!–O, sure, the $ is down a bit and G&S were oversold–but that didn’t help gold for all those weeks and months…

CPI up 0.2%, ex food and energy up 0.1%
