Richmond Fed President Lacker says he was involved with Medley leak, announces immediate resignation

Posted by Farmboy @ 14:36 on April 4, 2017

“In his letter of resignation, Lacker admitted to speaking to an analyst at Medley Global Advisors regarding the September 2012 Fed meeting. Medley publishes analysis for hedge funds and asset managers and is owned by the Financial Times. Lacker said his actions violated Fed communications policies that prohibit “providing any profit-making person or organization with a prestige advantage over its competitors.”

Re I leaked nothing to nobody. California slang. Makes sense to us just not the rest of the world  lol I think she’s under pressure, gun to head scenario. Calif has too many special interest getting in defiantly anti American foreign and race centered for votes and more, not America as a whole centered which are unimportant to them and will spit out a lot of nonsense and out right lies to defend their lawless or unconstitutional agendas. We saw how they used PC to try to silence people while they were doing it. It’s been going on for a long time, decades. It just got ramped up with bath house where they didn’t feel the need to hide it from the rest of the country anymore showing their true agenda. Theyll  just go back in hiding talking amongst themselves till the next opportunity to overthrow the Gov. maybe getting smarter next time. I hope she isn’t used as the fall guy but to expose who was behind it.

I recall you mentioning that Maya

I use the TOR network on here… “The Onion Router”.  Sometimes generically referred to as the ‘Dark Web’.  It’s quite easy now to download a mozilla/firefox browser version of TOR already configured and ready to go.

Encrypted at your browser, the link goes thru multiple anonymous relay servers so it cannot be traced.

Everyone here needs VPN protection ASAP

Posted by eeos @ 13:36 on April 4, 2017

As consumers, we expect our computer hardware and software to keep us safe. The problem is, we all too often use our computers in risky ways. Connecting to public Wi-Fi networks, for example, is a commonplace practice, but these are also excellent avenues for attackers to seize your personal information. Enter virtual private networks, or VPNs. These services use simple software to secure your internet connection and give you greater control of how you appear online. You can even use them to stream Netflix from other countries. While you might never have heard of VPN services, they are valuable tools that everyone should have at their disposal, as we’ll explain.

What Is a VPN?

If you’ve ever had to connect to a corporate network while working remotely, you may already be familiar with VPN technology. In the simplest terms, it creates a secure, encrypted connection, which can be thought of as a tunnel, between your computer and a server operated by the VPN service. In a professional setting, this tunnel makes you part of the company’s network as if you were physically sitting in the office, hence the name. While connected to the VPN, all your network traffic passes through this protected tunnel, and no one in between can see what you are up to. A consumer VPN service does the same thing, but for the purposes of protecting data and identity.

Think about it this way: If your car pulls out of your driveway, someone can follow you and see where you are going, how long you are at your destination, and when you are coming back. They might even be able to peek inside your car and learn more about you. With a VPN service, you are essentially driving into a closed parking garage, switching to a different car, and driving out, so that no one who was originally following you knows where you went.

Of course, it would be misleading to claim that any security product is a magic bullet. VPN services, while tremendously helpful, are not foolproof. A determined adversary can almost always breach your defenses in one way or another. Using a VPN can’t help if you unwisely download ransomware on a visit to the Dark Web. What a VPN can do is to protect you against mass data collection and the casual criminal vacuuming up user data for later use.

Question: Is there any way to avoid the spaces between the sentences?

Part, From 2003

Anybody notice how they make things sound better on the news?

“Lots of money on the side-lines” How about, lots of DEBT on the sidelines?

Another one, “double dip” are they trying to remind us of an ice cream cone, while talking about a bad economy?

How about “sub prime loans” instead of risky-dead beat loans. Why is the word ‘prime’ there? To remind us of steak?

Even the word “inflation” to make it sound like something is getting bigger instead of saying the dollar getting smaller.

I would love to meet the people who are paid to come up with miss-leading terminology. Why don’t they speak English?

#1 “double dip”

#2 “stealth bull market”

#3 “non-performing” (loans.)

It goes to 23, but how to save vertical space

Donga, I learned a new Ozzie word. In the US it sounds similar of what they call man caves. Their own space. Yours might be better if it can be a bug out cave too. However I believe most your patriot Auzzies like patriot Americans would rather have the threats to that country bug out instead. That would include so called leaders that would change your country and put you through that for their personal gain. Send them back to their real caves instead of putting up in one. 🙂

Surfers never stop till they have to and even then they want to. There’s no age limit although like any sport your on top of your game in younger years before your body takes on too much abuse by the land life. Changes can come like how long you can endure the cold in some waters, fatique, balance, and how long you can hold your breath. Over time you learn your limits by pushing them in the first place and sometimes barley but can change, like taking a wave when you know there’s back to back that are going to come after that with no time to get back up before getting thrown down again and again. When your younger you’ll take more chances. Like saying to yourself just one more wave when your teeth are chattering or even beyond that. It’s dangerous.
Watching them at competitions can be fun sometimes kinda boring in the lower levels because their not free surfing and relationship with the other surfers around you who are now your competitors instead of watching out for each other. Like at one competition some Asian guy cut off a well known surfer looking at the cameras instead of his neighbor creating a dangerous situation because these were big waves in northern Cal. This guy fell off and due to what he did and the surfer he cut off went next and didn’t fall caused a division he brought on himself and that camera chaser never came back up. In northern Calif where the big waves come, up to 70 feet but really cold during that time a while back a group of on lookers got wiped out by a rouge wave that washed up on shore. Some were about to climb up on the rocks just in time while others got hit and dragged around pretty good. Good thing no young children were harmed.

It’s poor English but in common usage the meaning would be that she didn’t leak anything to anyone. No native speaker would take it another way.

The American people are not stupid and why bath house worked so hard to open the flood gates with immigration in a attempt to out number them. He has a lot of blood on his hands and turned Rice into his spokes person. Something she was good at but the swamp used her and turned into something else to one lie after another.

These 2 Moves Confirm a Major Shift in the Gold and Silver Mining Industry

Posted by Farmboy @ 10:40 on April 4, 2017

For instance, Hecla Mining (NYSE:HL) only brought its San Sebastian mine into commercial production last year. While it did produce nearly 4.3 million ounces of silver last year, it’s also a gold-producing mine. Similarly, Casa Berardi is a big producer of the yellow metal for Hecla, and there are numerous expansion opportunities still to come with this mine. Hecla’s gold, silver, and base metal production is about as balanced as it gets from a revenue perspective.

This ongoing and dynamic shift in production demonstrates that gold and silver miners are far more nimble than they’ve ever been. They’re also arguably looking further into the future than they’ve ever done before. Rather than relying solely on current spot prices to drive their decisions, many are taking a diversified and/or hedged approach that lets them take advantage of gold during times of uncertainty, and silver during periods of economic expansion. (Silver has more practical uses than gold.)

All told, these shifts have this Fool believing that gold and silver mining companies are looking stronger than ever.”

Risk-off signs support gold and silver

Posted by Farmboy @ 10:32 on April 4, 2017

Silver meanwhile has almost made a full recovery of the near 10% correction which hit it back in early March. This has been somewhat surprising given the recent lacklustre performance among industrial metals, to which silver partly belongs. Silver breaking the February high at $18.50/oz or the JPY rallying further is potentially two of the drivers which could see gold make it through resistance.
Silver has spent the past five days bouncing off support at its 200-day moving average at $18.07/oz. A break above $18.50/oz could see it target $19/oz, the 61.8% retracement of the July to December selloff.”
Comment: Seems things are lining up for the PM’s. April could prove to be a huge WIN. But then Buygold keeps whispering in my ear, ” Hope is not a strategy.” 🙂

Gold And Silver Prices About To Bring Clarity On Long-Term Trend

Posted by Farmboy @ 10:22 on April 4, 2017

Right now, gold is trading again around the important $1250 area. There is a lot of resistance in this area for several reasons:

  • First, the current gold price is somewhere in the middle of the bear market channel.
  • Second, the longest term resistance trendline kicks in right above $1350, which is 8 pct from current price levels.
  • Third, although of secondary importance, the 38.2% Fibonacci retracement level of the long term bull market is near, specifically at $1291.”

Manipulative Attacks on Gold And Silver Failing to Yield Desired Results

Posted by Farmboy @ 10:14 on April 4, 2017

“Gold and silver are acting differently right now. Usually when the open interest in the paper gold (Comex) net short of the bullion banks becomes overweighted, it’s a signal that they are getting ready to attack the price of gold by triggering massive stop-loss selling by the technically-driven hedge funds.”
