It’s not the first I saw where people did not want to leave their country including children but just wanted the war ended. This one blew up in  Hilarys face  who with the aid of the media tried to bait a Syrian going through hell for political backlash on Trump but it backfired. He got to the point, stop dragging on the war, the killing and displacing our citizens.  That we don’t want to go to your country we want you out of ours. It’s like become the norm like Gang warfare. Like their lives don’t matter. Then we got these nut radicals using the other half and weak minded, criminals, and uneducated too for religious dominance. Mathew 24 False profits. Parents should read it to their kids.

Great video, thanks.

Ha Syrian survivor sets media straight for hillarys criticism

On refugee vetting after air strike. He set her straight on being a hypocrite in her attempt to undermine anything Trump does. Now waiting for those who will say he acted without congress approval because we wernt in imminent threat. Luckily he’s got approval from “some” on both sides.

“I hope Trump is that smart.”

Fingers crossed on that one Pal!

Now all the Europeans will call for a Trump-Putin meeting to lower the threat risk. The sooner the better.

Had the same damn conversation with another Trump supporting co-worker today.

What if this strike was intended to get the media and Dems off his back about the Trump-Russia thing?

What if he has back channels to Putin via Erik Prince (Blackwater, Former SEAL) that told Putin, “hey I’ve got to do this to take some of the heat off” Russia was warned well in advance to get their guys out. The missiles appear to have done minimal damage.

I hope Trump is that smart.

That being said, he better start going after Susan Rice, Rhoades, Obozo, etc. Where the hell is Jeff Sessions?

God, I hate hope.

Telegraph: Donald Trump’s Syria strikes ‘not start of campaign to topple Assad’

Posted by goldcountry @ 20:36 on April 7, 2017

Senior Republicans downplayed any suggestion of a new military surge to oust the Russian-backed Syrian dictator.

The White House also worked to row back on any suggestion of wider US involvement to remove the Assad regime.

Sean Spicer, the White House press secretary, said they would continue to focus on the mission to defeat Isil in Syria, and would even work – indirectly -alongside Damascus to achieve the aim.

He described the strike as a punishment to remind the Assad regime that there has to be a “mutual level of human decency” in its behaviour. But he added that this action was separate to their wider national security goals.

Mitch McConnell, senate leader, said: “I don’t interpret this as a first step toward anything else in particular other than trying to eliminate or at least make sure [Syria] knows what the consequences are for doing this.”

Rex Tillerson, US Secretary of State, said the salvoes of Tomahawk missiles from two US Navy destroyers in the eastern Med demonstrated Mr Trump was “willing to take decisive action when called for”.

But he went on to say he would “not in any way attempt to extrapolate that to a change in our policy or our posture relative to our military activities in Syria today. There has been no change in that status.”

Syrian officials and their allies also said they did not expect the attack to lead to an expansion of the conflict.

“No doubt this will leave great tension on the political level, but I do not expect a military escalation,” a senior, non-Syrian official in the alliance fighting in support of Assad who declined to be identified told Reuters. “Currently I do not believe that we are going towards a big war in the region.”

The barrage was against a relatively small target and the damage to Assad was “psychological more than physical”, said retired general John Allen, the US envoy to the anti-Isil coalition under Barack Obama.

But it may deter Assad and force him to “think carefully every time” time he wants to launch attacks on his civilian population, Gen Allen said.

He predicted the show of force would help the US regain power on the world stage. “We have this old saying that sometimes it’s not a bad thing to just play the crazy American,” Gen Allen said.

“Not only does America have great power, but it typically demonstrates great restraint. But every now and then using that power gets everybody’s attention. With this Trump put the Assad regime on notice, and sent warning to the Putin, Jinping and Kim Jong Un regimes too.”

I was having trouble seeing much damage in that video and if they’re flying aircraft out of there already then I wouldn’t say “the airbase is destroyed.”

There may be other videos which show the damage better.

Haha maybe we told the Russians we’d leave the runways alone and just take out some Syrian aircraft.

The few casualties was intentional.
As for fake reports of little damage, I’m afraid not true.
http://www.foxnews.com/world/2017/04/07/syria-missile-attack-satellite-photos-show-major-damage-to-airfields.html

“Satellite images released Friday of the Syrian air base that was pounded with 59 U.S. Tomahawk missiles show large-scale destruction to airfields, planes and fueling facilities allegedly used by the Assad regime to mount chemical weapons attacks.

However, the London-based Syrian Observatory for Human Rights reported that Syrian warplanes were able to take off from the base and carry out airstrikes in the countryside near Homs.

Shayrat air base was “almost completely destroyed” by the barrage of 1,000-pound warheads launched from the Eastern Mediterranean Sea early Friday, according to a human rights group in the country.

The Britain-based Syrian Observatory for Human Rights said the missile attack damaged over a dozen hangars, a fuel depot and an air defense base.

At least seven Syrian soldiers were killed and nine wounded in the airstrike, the country’s military said.

The governor of Homs province said he did not believe the strikes caused a large number of “human casualties.” A Syrian official the attack caused deaths and a fire, but did not elaborate.

Two senior defense officials with knowledge of the strike also told Fox News that about 20 Syrian jets were destroyed.”

Just speculating ……………………………………………….. it was a nearly fake attack

Posted by ipso facto @ 19:56 on April 7, 2017

So we launched an attack on the Syrian airbase but it seemed to have not done much damage with no or few casualties. At the onset of the news Trump looked a bit like a loose cannon, someone decisive maybe too decisive, a man to be reckoned with. Now the way is open for Trump to meet and negotiate with Putin. How can the neocons object … Trump has shown he’s a hardliner in the ME.

Now Trump and Putin can talk.

Goldie – thanks for your comments

As I said , I was a timid kid in a new environment , so I just let sleeping dogs lie after the event , grateful to be left alone , and it did not help that I was the kid with the highest grades in my class .

It became a bit funny a couple of years later . The grandson of the nation’s former ambassador to Japan was in my class and always was in the number two spot grade-wise . Every time his father saw me , he would come out with a thinly veiled insult , because his ‘elite’ son could never best me , the ragamuffin . Sometimes I think the teachers were deliberately helping me out , as the underdog .

In the mid-East , we have one culture which has been at war with the rest of humanity for 1400 years , and which never forgets their losses , because they are schooled by clerics who stir the resentment . Westerners are not exposed very much to that history during their education and tend to be ignorant of it . Today we saw another example of that ongoing war , in Stockholm .

were white Happy and Stupidly Liberal ,and it worked for them .A good LIFE !

With the influx of Muslims they dont understand why they dont just assimilate ? It confuses them.

What they dont understand is they are not going to assimilate ,they are going to destroy the Swedish way of life !

and go for the Muslim way of Life because their liberalism  allowed  it .

Now they are getting less white ,less happy, and  Devious .just like all the Muslim nations.

Its a culture difference and the swedes dont understand it.  There will be NO assimilate ONLY infiltrate !

The rest of the WEST needs to pay attention.! US included .your mistake was Liberalism ,it leaves you open to exploitation from the Devious ones.

They need to get White ,Happy and Conservative to recapture their Happy way of Life ! The culture of Liberal ,  only works for like minded people .not the DEVIOUS  mid East mentality.

The whole mid East is like that ! Trump needs to build a WALL around it ,all of it  !  Let them kill each other ! Those devious bastards !

Mr.Copper @ 15:42 You’re asking a very easy to answer question

Posted by silverngold @ 16:10 on April 7, 2017

The answer is “YES”. It will most likely be higher or lower. The odds of it being the same are just too great and almost never happens.

Trump genius?

Posted by Buygold @ 15:59 on April 7, 2017

If we are on a war footing with tensions high, won’t Congress have to increase the debt ceiling?

War always solves so many problems. 🙂

I need to know what the Gold price will be Monday morning, higher or lower?

Posted by drb2 @ 15:36 on April 7, 2017

Below is a link to an excellent interview of GATA’s Chris Powell.  It is very short.

It on was on CNBC.  Albeit late night hours and Asia CNBC

What makes it significant, beside the fact that it was on MSN, is the fact that the talking head let Powell finish a sentence.

The only two times that I am aware of that GATA has made it to MSN, both were cancelled with “technical difficulties” (in front of my eyes) seconds into the interview.

Naturally, this change activates my radar – now CNBC can say they were not complacent in the PM coverup.

Dear Friend of GATA and Gold:

CNBC Asia’s “Squawk Box” program with Bernie Lo in Hong Kong this morning gave your secretary/treasurer five or six minutes to discuss recent developments in gold market rigging by central banks. A two-minute, 30-second excerpt from the interview is posted at the CNBC archive here:

Thanks but no great call, the easiest thing to call in any market. These one off events always end the same way. PM’S open higher end lower, SM opens lower always ends higher. Wash, rinse, repeat.

Yes, they are complete psychopaths and we will all pay the price someday and I think sooner rather than later.
