China markets closed this week for National Holiday. Gonna be a long week, but good time to bargain hunt. Trying to keep my attention focused on what happens after Nov 8. No matter who wins, think Gold is gonna shine. Thankfully, I have plenty of fall chores to keep me occupied inbetween visits to the puter screen. Watching the beat down adds exuberance to my stress relief program. 🙂

Gold has been doing just opposite for many years now. In a financial crisis of any sort Gold gets hammered.
I like to follow the Silver stocks to find a likely top or bottom…they both top and bottom last. PAAS has been oversold enough for weeks now BUT, not SLW. Finally today, SLW is low enough to signal an Int. term bottom. It just has to stay down thru Friday’s close. (weekly charts) So, it looks to me that the bottom will be either this week or some time next week. If, SLW goes up from here this week then all bets are off and the bottom should be yet to come…just my 2 cents.

Canada’s federal government to impose carbon price on provinces
Canada’s Prime Minister Justin Trudeau said Monday that his government will establish a “floor price” on carbon pollution of $10 a tonne in 2018, rising to $50 a tonne by 2022.
During a debate in the House of Commons on whether Canada should ratify the Paris accord on climate change and cut greenhouse gas emissions by 30% from 2005 levels by 2030, Trudeau said provinces and territories will have the option of either establishing a carbon tax or implementing a cap-and-trade system “stringent enough” to meet or exceed the federal target.
The PM also stated that given the case that a province or territory doesn’t have either a carbon price or a cap-and-trade system in place by 2018, “the government of Canada will implement a price in that jurisdiction.”
In spite of the centralized decision, he stated that its outcomes would be revenue neutral for the federal government. This means that each province and territory would benefit directly from any revenues generated under the system.

Roger that.
While the pummeling is continuing in the market, now is a good time for a walk in the woods, an appreciation of nature before bad weather becomes confining. The trees you plant will continue long after we are gone.
Cheers

Alex Jones just fell out of love with Assange………looks like it is a train wreck….Wiki just lost all credibility..shame .
Still it’s not like Hellary’s existing charge sheet, isn’t enough to have her in the slammer for eternity.
As for mkts…see this as a healthy correction…what Elliot wavers call 2 nd wave dn and the C of ( A dn…B up…C dn)…correcting the Oct ’15 July ’16 rally……This shud be last great cheap opportunity, time says late October to bottom…I am looking to add from mid October dn….Well that is the theory anyway….stay well and cheers.
