It’s Official: Canada Has Sold All Of Its Gold Reserves

Canada’s Barrick Gold (TSX, NYSE:ABX), which recently regained its status as the world’s most valuable producer of the precious metal, has began a “drastic revision” of its mothballed Pascua-Lama project in South America.

According to Chilean news outlet El Pulso (in Spanish), the company’s President Kelvin Dushnisky revealed that management is re-evaluating plans for the gold, silver and copper mine straddling the border of Chile and Argentina, adding that Barrick does not rule out a possible partnership to bring the project to completion.

The giant project in the Andes has been shuttered since 2013, when a Chilean court ordered the company to halt construction over environmental concerns. Later that year, Barrick shelved the project citing massive cost overruns and nose-diving bullion prices.

“We are looking at how to lower the costs, perhaps by digging a smaller pit, or aiming at higher grades (…) we are very open to consider different options, but we’d only restart the project when the market is right,” Dushnisky said.

Analysts are now speculating that Barrick’s partner in Papua New Guinea, China-owned Zijin Mining Group, could be the one to help turn Pascua-Lama into a success by spreading the financial and political risk.

Dushnisky made it clear that the company has not given up on Pascua-Lama, said to hold one of the world’s largest gold and silver resources with more than 15 million ounces of proven and probable gold reserves and 675 million ounces of silver contained within the gold reserves as of Dec. 31, 2013.

One should be hesitant to read Shapiro for any reason. Whereas the ramblings of other extremists in the clogosphere can be mildly informative, Shapiro’s sheer smugness and exclusive reliance on straw man arguments pretty much sucks out any potential “fun” that could be had with his articles.

The Christian Science Monitor summarized his book Brainwashed: How Universities Indoctrinate America’s Youth thusly, “Shapiro makes sweeping—and many would say absurd—charges that they promote atheism, sexual perversion (including pedophilia and statutory rape), and rampant environmentalism.”[10] It’s here we discover Shapiro has this odd habit of engaging in ad hominem attacks against anyone who is perceived to be even modrately left-wing. For instance, he labels a professor’s wife “brainless” when she talked about how much she treasures the Constitution (B.S. thinks we should stick it in a paper shredder[11]), and in the same book he accuses liberal professors of spreading “evil”. Said professor later accused Shapiro of grossly distorting aspects of this fairly meaningless event.[12]

He is a believer in some sort of homosexual recruitment taking place at colleges. In full irony mode he gets upset whenever someone accuses the right-wing of homophobia.

Shapiro is most infamous for being a conspiracy nut, finding leftist propaganda virtually everywhere. Shapiro got in hot water when he pushed the “Friends of Hamas” manufactroversy, but that’s really only the tip of the iceberg that is his madness.[13] He is also the founder of TruthRevolt, a conservative media watchdog group who openly state that their mission is to “unmask leftists in the media for who they are, destroy their credibility with the American public, and devastate their funding bases.”

Shapiro has also written about birtherism and while trying to avoid being an out and out birther, his writings are extremely sympathetic to it.[14] He believes that it is perfectly logical for someone to believe someone as “un-American” as Obama was born overseas, but he concludes that it’s more likely that Obama was indoctrinated with Marxism while in an American school.

Along with his amazing superpower to interpret anything being fed into his frontal cortex as “propaganda”, he also possesses the ability to trace it back to the source: the Jews, of course![15]

In 2013, he published a book Bullies: How the Left’s Culture of Fear and Intimidation Is Silencing America, basically a tone argument stretched over 300 pages. For instance, Shapiro interpreted a federal judge’s 2010 ruling against California Proposition 8 as “using the power of his gavel to justify his sex life.”[17]

During a 2015 discussion about Caitlyn Jenner on the HLN network, Shapiro repeatedly addressed corespondent Zoey Tur, a transgendered woman, “Sir”, to which Tur placed her hand on Shapiro’s shoulder and replied “You cut that out now, or you’ll go home in an ambulance.” While perhaps not the most professional response to Breitbart”s odious trolling, it is an understandable reflex action when sitting within 10 feet of Ben Shapiro.[18] Benny has since filed a police report against Tur and stated that he plans to pursue any applicable charges.[19]

Ben and Breitbart are made for each other. They both take even the tiniest, most irrelevant morsel of “news”^[3] and spin it into atrocities committed by the left. They both cry “Anti-Semetism!”^[4][5] when confronted with facts, yet freely insert racist dog-whistles into their articles for effect.^[6] They both earnestly use derogatory names like “SJW“. Ben has been caught a few times basing news articles on unsourced blogs, which later turned out to be false, yet never retracted them.^[7][8] He tweets barely-literate screeds dozens of times per day.^[9] He’s the hero they need.

The chairman of General Electric and the man who once headed President Barack Obama’s Council on Jobs and Competitiveness issued a scathing letter to his stockholders Friday, accusing Obama’s policies of failing to create jobs and destroying the competitiveness that American companies need to succeed in the global market.

Jeffrey Immelt, General Electric’s CEO, wrote in his annual letter that most government policies are perpetuating “slow growth, poor job creation, populism, low productivity, higher regulation, poor policy and more slow growth,” according to the Daily Caller.

Oddly, the harsh words about the government’s abysmal performance were meant to be reassuring to the GE stockholders, because Immelt said the company is operating successfully despite the government’s policies.

And that’s because it’s willing to make decisions that might seem harsh in the political world but are necessary in a real, competitive marketplace, he wrote. Misplaced government priorities, Immelt wrote, are destroying small businesses, the backbone of the U.S. economy.

In the fall, Immelt and GE found themselvesin the White House’s crosshairs because of a GE agreement with a French company that would move about 500 jobs out of the United States (a decision the Obama administration also blamed on Republicans, of course).

“In business, if you don’t lead these changes, you get fired; in politics, if you don’t fight them, you can’t get elected. As a result, most government policy is anti-growth,” Immelt wrote to stockholders. “In the U.S., we want exports but seem to hate trade and exporters; globally, governments love small businesses but then regulate them to death.”

Immelt also criticized the administration for forcing American companies to adopt political correctness at the cost of business effectiveness.

“It doesn’t do any good to win awards for good governance if you are getting eaten alive by competitors,” Immelt wrote. “Our sole truth of performance is in the market, winning with customers and investors.”

I haven’t heard of him either but he could do the same for any of them so why Trump? As far as being a christian are THEY? How many times did Cruz lie. Let’s not even get started on Rubio or Hitlery. They will throw a blanket over the Christians of the south heads. Do they have a short memory of Muslims demanding crosses go down before Trump or blind to the constitution their trying to destroy that separates religion from politics? Okay, please answer this one. What does it take to once again become a successful gold/silver bug in this world??  Will I live long enough to see it happen again??? :o)

To become a successful gold/silver bug implies increasing one’s personal wealth.  That means in anyone’s horoscope that the second house (or area concerning money) and/or its rulers must be involved in aspects of harmony, both by natal positions and by transit.

To give an example, Jupiter is the ruler of my 2nd house.  Jupiter’s current transit is in retrograde motion until May 9th, therefore there will be no increase in my personal wealth.  In addition to that, Saturn (planet of poverty) is transiting my 2nd house of wealth opposing (aspect of inharmony) natal Mercury…money is being sucked out of my cash stash so that wealth is dwindling.

As I am a gold/silver bug my personal horoscope doesn’t bode well for a Moon shot anytime soon but we may catch a break in late May/early June when transiting Jupiter forms a  sextile (an aspect of harmony) to my natal Jupiter.

Trump cannot be bought by Wall Street. Trump cannot be controlled by the club so they will try anything to get him out.

They either fail to see it is there fault and blame him instead or they know and don’t care because they have brokered the elections so long they don’t even hide their arrogance toward us anymore.
