The Justice Department has granted immunity to a former State Department staffer, who worked on Hillary Clinton’s private email server, as part of a criminal investigation into the possible mishandling of classified information, according to a senior law enforcement official.
The official said the FBI had secured the cooperation of Bryan Pagliano, who worked on Clinton’s 2008 presidential campaign before setting up the server in her New York home in 2009.
The take-away from this announcement is this: The FBI has at least one and probably multiple better felonies “in the bag” and they believe that an immunity grant will cement that case.
They already know what said person will testify to because that’s put forward in a “proffer” by his counsel to secure said immunity.
The FBI never gives up a likely felony conviction, no matter how small, unless they are very sure they have one or more much bigger and better felonies they will achieve conviction on by doing so.
My best guess is that both Hillary and Huma Abedin are being sized up for orange jumpsuits.
