The February Full Moon in Leo falls into the 12th house. A Leo Lunation is about investments and speculative matters, gold in particular. As Leo is a Fixed sign, what occurs involving these matters may have a long lasting effect. Leo brings an accent to leaders, men of power, executive and governmental heads, and possible threats of death or the overthrow of such leaders. The 12th house governs secrets and behind-the-scenes activities. Some hidden activity with regard to gold – more than is usual – is occurring during this Full Moon. As the Moon has last separated from trine Uranus hovering on the 9th house cusp of international events, foreign nations have a surprise in store.
The Moon is trine 8th house Uranus and inconjunct 5th house Pluto…things do not go as expected…personalities are precariously balanced. This may have to do with a security summit to be held in D.C. on February 18th. The 12th house influence suggests the worst Attorney General in U.S. history, Eric Holder, and his use of the term “violent extremism” in place of terrorism, means there is far more on the agenda than radical Islamic terrorism. Could the word games disguise a movement toward proclaiming anyone with extreme thoughts must be hunted down?
Uranus, ruler of 7th house Aquarius, is conjoined the South Node…U.S. leaders are likely to feel threatened with regard to open enemies and/or foreign affairs. As well they should.

Austere circumstances due to the financial condition of the country.
